What a day ! Where do I start.
I was super proud today. We had our wedding fair show case in Roscrea ETB. Our fabulous learners put on an amazing display and the work that went into it all was evident.
Thank you ladies for making Fridays a great day!!
Big shout out to my Mum Moyra who is a florist all her life. She was roped in to help today and to help pick “ Best in Show “ and “ Best Theme”
Thank you so much to my friend renowned Irish Florist Richard Haslam who came along and chatted to all the ladies and along with Moyra they picked the 2 winners. Richard took the time out of his day to call. He gave every learner time to explain their theme and gave feedback.
Thank you to Marguerite for all her help as always. To Roscrea shopping centre for allowing us to use their space and to Mark and Donnacha for always being so helpful.

Thank you to Lamber de Bie for sending our ladies a fabulous video message this morning and for to the institute of Flowers for sending on some lovely tote bags for prizes.

Just look at how fabulous this new shop front is.
Well done Bridget 🌸
Bridget completed 4 modules in Floristry 🌸
The last Module she was doing was Retail Floristry Display. Part of this module there is an assignment called “ opening your own flower shop “ in it you price the rent / rates etc of a shop to lay out the costs of opening a shop. You choose a name and decide what it is you would sell ! Well Bridget took her planning a bit further and did just that !
Bridget took her floristry education seriously and did a lot of research before setting up. I helped Bridget with extra one on one training and I am so proud to see how far she has come.
The shop looks amazing and Bridget is learning every day. I can’t wait to call up and say hi again.

Our lovely learners will be show casing their wedding work after completing another Floristry module “ Floristry Retail Display “ in Roscrea ETB.
These ladies have put their heart and soul into planning this for the last few months.

Not only have we been the lucky recipients of a gorgeous floral display by the Roscrea ETB Retail Florist students for the 2nd time, the colours they chose match our Mothers Day window perfectly! Thank you to some very talented florists in our midst!

We had a great day in class on Tuesday. We are pretty good at foraging but we took it to the limits for this class. Photos don’t do the beautiful wreaths justice. We also had a surprise visitor ! My Mum Moyra called to say Hi 👋 and to have a look at the beautiful work. Moyra is a florist and working with her ( dossing from school ) is where I got my passion 🌺
Well done to all of you. These will last months😊

The passion this group shows is fantastic and I know with out a doubt that we have many budding florists 🌸🌺🌸

What an amazing year 2024 was. I was so happy to be part of some amazing weddings. Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding flowers. It was a pleasure to work with you all. What a great year it was with my learners in both Roscrea and Clonmel ETB. It was so with such pride I watch them all thrive and pass their exams with flying colours.
As the year ended I am so proud to say 3 of my learners are working full time in the floristry industry. One lovely lady is working full time in a shop in Kildare and thriving as she learns so many new skills. 2 of my other lovely ladies both opened brand new shops and wow that’s a big step. These ladies plan to keep up their studies and I will be doing more one on one training with them. It is important to keep training and learning. Our workshops went down a storm this year thank God. We had an amazing Spring / Autumn and Christmas workshop. Thank you to all who came along and spent the afternoon with us. I am very excited for 2025 🌺 some fabulous weddings booked in for 2025. Looking forward to continuing our course in Roscrea and starting a new course in Clonmel.

I have been flat out behind the scenes here in the studio. I have managed to catch up and have a few slots left I could fit in on Saturday. So after Saturday the 21st I will be finished taking orders for Christmas. So any last minute orders send them as soon as you can. Thank you 🥰

What a brilliant afternoon workshop in hall. It’s always such a lovely hall to use. Thank you everyone who came along today. Such a lovely mix of new faces and old friends. We made a fabulous lucious wreath and a stunning full table arrangement. The ladies left with their arms full of their masterpieces. I can’t thank .ogorman.5 enough for all her lovely baking and sandwiches. Thank you!!! Thank you to Carmel for helping with all the clean up. We do make a big mess !!

I was delighted to go to Scoil Chormaic last night to do a Christmas demonstration. What a fabulous cozy school it is. We had a lovely night where I did 5 arrangements and they all went off to their new homes as part of the raffle. Thank you so much to for helping organise it all. Thank you to principal Lorraine Lowry for welcoming me. A huge thank you to Cormac who kept me on my toes asking some very interesting questions. I hope everyone enjoyed the night and the people who got the arrangements enjoy them.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow night. I will be doing a demonstration in Scoil Chormaic. All funds raised will be donated to the school. I will be doing 5 arrangements and all of them will be raffled on the night along with some other fabulous spot prizes. So come along and support this event. Tickets on the door !
