What an amazing year 2024 was. I was so happy to be part of some amazing weddings. Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding flowers. It was a pleasure to work with you all. What a great year it was with my learners in both Roscrea and Clonmel ETB. It was so with such pride I watch them all thrive and pass their exams with flying colours.
As the year ended I am so proud to say 3 of my learners are working full time in the floristry industry. One lovely lady is working full time in a shop in Kildare and thriving as she learns so many new skills. 2 of my other lovely ladies both opened brand new shops and wow that’s a big step. These ladies plan to keep up their studies and I will be doing more one on one training with them. It is important to keep training and learning. Our workshops went down a storm this year thank God. We had an amazing Spring / Autumn and Christmas workshop. Thank you to all who came along and spent the afternoon with us. I am very excited for 2025 🌺 some fabulous weddings booked in for 2025. Looking forward to continuing our course in Roscrea and starting a new course in Clonmel.

I have been flat out behind the scenes here in the studio. I have managed to catch up and have a few slots left I could fit in on Saturday. So after Saturday the 21st I will be finished taking orders for Christmas. So any last minute orders send them as soon as you can. Thank you 🥰

What a brilliant afternoon workshop in hall. It’s always such a lovely hall to use. Thank you everyone who came along today. Such a lovely mix of new faces and old friends. We made a fabulous lucious wreath and a stunning full table arrangement. The ladies left with their arms full of their masterpieces. I can’t thank .ogorman.5 enough for all her lovely baking and sandwiches. Thank you!!! Thank you to Carmel for helping with all the clean up. We do make a big mess !!

I was delighted to go to Scoil Chormaic last night to do a Christmas demonstration. What a fabulous cozy school it is. We had a lovely night where I did 5 arrangements and they all went off to their new homes as part of the raffle. Thank you so much to for helping organise it all. Thank you to principal Lorraine Lowry for welcoming me. A huge thank you to Cormac who kept me on my toes asking some very interesting questions. I hope everyone enjoyed the night and the people who got the arrangements enjoy them.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow night. I will be doing a demonstration in Scoil Chormaic. All funds raised will be donated to the school. I am delighted to be a part of this upcoming fundraiser in Cashel in aid of Scoil Chormaic Cashel.
Come and join us for a lovely night where I will be doing a demonstration of different Christmas flower arrangements.
The best part is all the arrangements will be raffled on the night. So aswell as supporting a wonderful school you could go home with an arrangement of your own.
December the 10th at 7pm in Scoil Chormaic.

What a proud woman I was today at the certificate presentation in The Talbot Hotel Clonmel.
Not everyone could make it but the ladies that did were delighted to go up and get their certs. These ladies have put in a lot of work and deserved their day. Some of them have continued on and are doing more courses with me in Clonmel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Christmas Arrangements ⭐️⭐️⭐️

So Christmas took me over today. I couldn’t help myself it was like a drug. Some Christmas stock came in today and I had to head straight to the work room after dinner.
So these are forever arrangements made with top quality silk flowers. A mix of eucalyptus / ivy / poinsettia/ berries / Phoenix rubelinii / snow berries orchids/ amaryllis / lotus heads / cinnamon / baubles and glitter ⭐️⭐️
These are all bespoke and one offs and because they are made of all artificial they will last each year. All you will have to replace is the candle.
I’m not a photographer as the photos don’t do them justice.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This QQI Level 5 course aims to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and competencies to work in floristry independently under direction and or to progress to further education.

PROGRESSION ROUTES

On successful completion of this component learners may continue on to further QQI Level 5 Floristry components. In conjunction with further components, learners may pursue employment within the Floristy sector.

APPLICANTS WHOSE FIRST LANGUAGE IS NOT ENGLISH

A minimum English language proficiency of B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) is required at entry to QQI Level 5 for those whose first language is not English
