"We got married in the Woodford Dolmen and highly recommend them to everyone. From the moment we went to book to the day we got married we felt as if we were the most important couple to get married. From the very friendly staff, they helped with everything.

We had to cancel due to Covid and they were so good they helped us rearrange everything to suit our new date with our suppliers with no problems at all. They accommodated all our extras and helped me with my themed wedding. Wow, the meal tasting came around and we were expecting just to taste the meal at a standard table but to our surprise they had it set up like a wedding table with our own personal menu and afterwards, the manager came to sit down and spoke to us to see if we wanted to make changes, our car let us down days before the wedding and when we rang the hotel the manager sorted it out within the hour.

The day itself went smoothly for us and a lot of excitement and laughter from all the staff. We highly recommend the Woodford Hotel for a night stay or a weekend away or if you're looking to get married.

The hotel is so relaxed friendly and welcoming. Their gardens are well maintained. We have been to many weddings in hotels and a few in the Woodford Dolmen and the Woodford stands out by a mile" - Paudie and Colette

Planning and communication with Colin and his team were so seamless from start to finish, every aspect of the food (arrivals, dinner, evening, breakfast) was top class; the best thing to see as a Bride and Groom is empty plates when you're chatting with guests between courses and the new bridal suite is absolutely stunning, we already can't wait to return for our 1st anniversary!!
