Having looked after hen parties for a previous employer i decided to branch out and try it myself. Luckily enough one of my friends was getting married around the time so they asked me to plan the hen party .... After that weekend Elite Hen Parties was born
Ever since then we have gone from strength to strength planning and helping hens put together the best weekend and the perfect send off for th

e bride! We have set packages available or we can make one from scratch that will work exactly how your hen wants. All the packages are available nationwide and include your hotel, your dinner, the activity and entertainment right down to the bar seat you will have! 💖 5 Things To Do All Brides Should Do 💖

Attention 2025 Brides ….

So before you pass the mantle over this is a quick list of 5 things you should do first before letting your bridal squad go loose

👰‍♀️ Set a Date - This doesnt need to be a final date but try get a rough idea of when you want to go. Usually a few months ahead of the wedding date is the norm but try to plan at least 8 months ahead just to give the best availability for yourself. Also how long would you prefer to go for? One or 2 nights. Remember all Bank Holidays are a 2 night stay so if you want to go around then you wont get one night options on those dates

👰‍♀️ Where to go - Again you dont need a set location but try narrow it down so you have options? Some like to stay in the country, some prefer abroad! If your staying in Ireland how far do you want to travel? I always say for the hen go somewhere you wouldnt usually think of going to? This is the one occasion to make it count so go totally random

👰‍♀️ Who to ask - This doesnt need to be your final list but have an idea on how many is going? No point having everything booked for 20 people and suddently theres extra with no room for them. Its always easier to remove people off the lists then add people on so have a rough idea on this

👰‍♀️ Is there any requirements - This is something most dont think of but is there anyone on the party in a wheelchair or with a condition? Its more to give a heads up incase someone needs accomdation on their own or if something might not be wheelchair friendly. Its alot easier to plan these things from the start then find out later and have to change something.

👰‍♀️ What is a No No - Before you hand everything over what are some things you dont want to have? This doesnt make you a bridezilla but there is nothing worse then your sqaud putting an amazing weekend together and something is included you didnt want. Maybe its a accomodation choice or an activity? Just give a brief idea so they know what to work from

Was it something you couldn’t wait to include or was it something you rather wasn’t done? Maybe you just wanted something small or did you want a big celebration

It differs for all brides …

Personally I always feel the hen weekend isn’t thought of as much and gets a bit of an afterthought when in fact this is possibly the first main celebration in the lead up to the big day and sets the tone for everything that follows
