Pictured are the Pink Ribbon Fundraising Committee Grainne Kivlehan Marren, Trina Donohue, Martina Cullen and Fiona Casey along with Patrick Casey, Operations Manager, National Breast Cancer Research Institute of Galway.

The Pink Ribbon Fundraiser was held on Saturday night, 17th February 2024 in Walsh’s Bar in Charlestown with all proceeds raised in aid of Breast Cancer Research. The night was a great success and the figure of €12, 300 was raised for this worthy cause.

The committee were so delighted with the positive response the event generated and the generosity of people in many different forms from those who donated prizes, their time, their money, and their goodwill!

The committee want to extend their thanks to the many people who made the event possible with special mention to the following: All those who came on the night, bought entry tickets and raffle tickets, the raffle prize sponsors, the auction prize donors, the donors of the prosecco, the raffle ticket dream team of Cliona, Erin, Ethel, and Lucy and everyone who helped on the night. Thanks to staff of Caseys Stores & Walsh’s Public House for facilitating ticket sales.
