Clonmel World Music proudly presents:

Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra, on Thursday 03rd April, in Raheen House Hotel. Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm. Book a pre-theatre meal with us at Raheen House and make an evening of it!

We are really thrilled that Clonmel World Music are back running shows in Raheen House Hotel again.

Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra are one of the hardest working bands in the UK roots circuit, with thousands of touring miles under their belts. They have earned themselves a sizeable fan base in the UK, Europe and beyond. Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, they play their own brand of Western Swing, Blues, Gypsy Jazz and Country, or “North Eastern Swing” as they’ve coined it.

We are just so humbled and incredibly grateful to be shortlisted among some of our favourite festivals and peers for this award. We pour our hearts into this every year and just getting to run WNWM is honestly a huge privilege. 🧡 This nomination has caught us totally off guard & put a big teary smile on our faces.😅

We are in awe of the level of artistry that thrives among Irelands musicians, songwriters, bands…and are so lucky each year to be in a position to bring an exceptional line up to Clonmel.

Carsie Blanton "is a songwriter with hooks, chutzpah, and revolutionary optimism. Inspired by artist-activists including Nina Simone and Woody Guthrie, her catalog careens through American popular song from folk and swing to pop-punk protest anthems.

With a unique mix of humor, political wit, and fifteen-plus years on the road, Blanton has amassed a dedicated fan base and a small menagerie of viral hits. In 2024 she released two albums: After the Revolution (produced by Grammy-winner Tyler Chester) and The Red Album (an acoustic EP of protest songs)."
