Check out this video Tracey took during her excursion to Fire Mountain, in Timafaya National Park in Lanzarote 🇪🇸 🔥 The Montañas del Fuego (Fire Mountains) are located in the Timanfaya National Park where you can enjoy the spectacular landscape and see volcanic activity first hand, as well as taste dishes cooked using the heat of the volcano in the El Diablo restaurant 🔥 Timafaya is the only active volcano in Lanzarote. Its volcanic activity continues today as the temperature ranges from 100 to 600°C at a depth of 13 meters resulting in extraordinary geysers of steam 🔥 Tracey definitely recommends pre booking this excursion before you travel …not only is it super handy to have the coach pick you up outside your hotel and bring you to Timafaya , the guide on the coach was very knowledgeable. .. BUT …Coaches have priority entrance to the park so no queuing outside waiting to get in …those who hire cars to gain entry can wait up to 2 hours in high season as only so many cars are allowed in at the one time…. Who wants to waste time queuing for that amount of time whilst on holidays ?!
