It's been a while, so here we go again. I'm opening some spaces for regular commissions. This time I was thinking about all the new mamas, that's why I'm offering these 2 options: the tiny feet or a letter.

One week ago I had the pleasure of being one of the vendors at .ie at . So many new faces, couples and other wedding suppliers. Instagram is great, but going offline is highly necessary every now and then.

Thanks to all the people that approached my table, for a chat, to ask questions and the enquiries (they are all replied by now).

Angela💐

With a bouquet full of wildflowers and little greenery, Angela chose a double glass frame in the garden style.

I don't know if you know this, but when it comes to creating the piece (once the flowers are pressed and ready to go), I have a chat with the brides to decide what to do with them, what style to choose.

Sometimes you don't need much. Obviously, big bouquets with a lot of colourful flowers are eye catching, but they're not for everyone.

Even the simple bouquets will be special. Because those are the flowers that accompanied you on your wedding day. Flowers 🫂 Memories.

Do you have a bridal bouquet that is all flowers, no greenery? Let me just say: Bring it on!

When you book the bouquet preservation with me I only get a soft idea of how the bouquet will be. It's usually a surprise. And I got one of the biggest surprises with this one. It's so beautiful, special and colourful.

When she chose the double glass option I was thrilled. I knew this piece would be gorgeous. And I wasn't wrong. Am I allowed to say that about my own artwork? 🤔

Anyway, there's so much of this bouquet (and the maid of honour's one) that I will tell you about very soon.

This is one of the many occasions I say, pictures (and videos) don't do any justice. Her bouquet was stunning to begin with. Colourful and elegant.

I wish I had taken a photo of those delphiniums after pressing, because I couldn't get the same again this year.

The frame she chose is the size A3 option in double glass with a dark brown frame. I don't know about you, but I think the combo is amazing.

I have a few stories with this bouquet.

First, she booked with me 30 minutes before getting married. I was explaining the process to her and feeling terrible about it 🙈 But hey! It all worked out well.

Second, when she brought the flowers to me and explained not many people agreed with their colour choice. But, I mean.... It's stunning. Her now husband likes purple, she likes yellow, and they chose that combination for the wedding bouquet.

And I tell you the same thing I said to her... It's your wedding and you should choose whatever you like and these are some of THE BEST colours to preserve your bouquet 🥹💚

Are we born creative or is it something we can practice?

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Now I'm back on my old job (just covering shifts, don't worry, I'm still a full time artist), I realised what the problem was: I couldn't use my creativity for anything. I would get good ideas, but were always shut down.

I'm not complaining. This simply was my reality.

I've always been a very creative person. I come from a family of crafters, but I had that side of me hidden for the longest time. The result: getting bored and cranky at my jobs.

I firmly believe that creativity is something you can work on. The more you practice, the more you get. And it doesn't only mean being good at arts and crafts, it means thinking out of the box, finding solutions to problems too.

Do you think you're not creative? Think again 🙂

💐 to 🖼️🖼️

I said it before, but I'll say it again. Transforming your wedding flowers into a bespoke piece of art is very special, but transforming it into a set... That's another level.

The reason I love sets is because they give you the chance to add more flowers to the piece and /or to gift the other pieces to someone you love or appreciate. Although it's also okay to keep them all together.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of being invited to this event organised by

The workshop, Together we grow, was a mix of yoga, guided by and the creation of a piece with pressed flowers (guided by me).

Humans, like flowers, thrive when we work together, to create community, when our environment we move ourselves in is healthy and supportive.

I want to say a big thank you to Lauren, for thinking of me to co-host this amazing event. And thanks to for organising.

And sorry for the lack of photos. We were busy enjoying and building an amazing community 😉🫶🏽

Bianca's 💐 transformation

When Bianca got in touch with me she knew she wanted to make the most out of her bouquet and her bridesmaids. She asked me for 11 pieces in total, being the main one the biggest size I do.

All the time it took me to finish these guys was worth it. They turned out so beautiful. I can't wait for her to receive it in the States.
