Pumpkin workshop on October 16th. Wednesday morning from 10 am.
At Ballintotis Hall
Everything supplied, €50 plus tea coffee and some treats..limited spaces so Dm or wats app to book your place with €10 deposit. Was a lovely class last year. PLUS.....I'll be joined by laura . New business and making the most amazing candles with the most beautiful long lasting scents. Laura will be chatting all things candles and will have some for sale plus we'll have some lighting for a room filled with all things spice

Oh the excitement, first peacock butterfly spotted yesterday on the rudbeckia. Lots of red admiral too,lots of bees so nice to see at last in the garden.

Bumper crop of blackcurrants. Delicious little pods of vitamin C. Now turned into some homemade blackcurrant jam, just like my mam made every year when we were children.
We were all sent to the garden with an empty bowl to help pick a huge amount of them.
A memory that takes me right back there.❤️

Look at these, Natural not sprayed. The wonder of nature

Türkiye is the only place in the world where natural black roses grow, fed by the waters of the Euphrates. A very rare type of flower, only in the village of Halfeti, southeastern province of Şanlıurfa, near Urfa province.
They appear black during the summer, in other seasons they are very dark red. This variety is due to the density of the soil and the combination of anthocyanins, water-soluble pigments; The soil has a huge impact on this type of pigment, since it is quite sensitive to pH. 🖤
