As always, it's been a great experience working across the promotion of Volvo Cork Week 2024 which takes place from Monday July 15th to July 20th in Crosshaven. This year’s event will feature over 120 boats and attract 8,000 sailors and spectators to the harbour town for a week of thrilling races and maritime festivities.

To kick off the week, the Volvo Cork Week Family Day takes place this Sunday, 14th July, from 12-5pm, at Royal Cork Yacht Club.

Activities include face painting, balloon modelling, an expanded family-friendly area which includes a Play Zone for children’s games, and a bigger Coastal Market. Families can also enjoy trails to Camden Fort Meagher, a colouring competition with some fantastic prizes, a children’s marine talk with Sam Cox at 1pm, the famous Pipers Fun Fair and boat trips from Custom House Quay on the Cailin Ór. Red FM’s Katie Jane Cronin will broadcast live from the Royal Cork Yacht Club from 2-5pm. Make a day out this Sunday with Volvo Cork Week!

The Harbour Race on Wednesday, July 17th, promises to be a spectacular viewing event. A number of Championship races will also take place from Monday to Friday. Catch the action from recommended viewing points: Camden and Church Bay in Crosshaven, the new Haulbowline Island Amenity Park, Ringaskiddy, and the promenade in Cobh.

Hard to believe but it’s been 3 weeks already since the sensational Waterford Festival of Food took place in the scenic harbour town of Dungarvan and surrounds!

We loved being involved in this heartfelt festival of regional flavours, people, produce and fun and supporting their amazing festival team headed up by Festival CEO Eunice Power, Administrator Martha Macklin and Office Manager Mary Foley.

Between the success of the festival’s events, fantastic media coverage, a record turnout and the gorgeous weather we are still on a high!

We are closing the book on a wonderful 'Planning for Outdoor Performance' Arts event @ Elizabeth Fort as part of Cork World Book Festival 2024! 📖✨

Cork's Elizabeth Fort was transformed into a literary wonderland on Sunday as part of the hugely successful Cork World Book Festival. Book lovers and word enthusiasts gathered for a lively celebration of poetry, storytelling, writing, and spoken word.

The event showcased a vibrant lineup of local poets, writers, and performers, alongside interactive workshops and captivating music by talented local musicians. Attendees explored a pop-up book fair, lively poetry sessions, and enchanting nature based storytelling sessions. The day culminated in an electrifying spoken word open mic event curated by O’ Bhéal and a spellbinding storytelling performance entitled 'Lifting the Gate' by Ben Mac Caoilte.

Thank you to the media who featured the event and to everyone who attended Elizabeth Fort over the weekend and contributed to shining a spotlight on Cork's rich literary talents!

We’ve had such fun, interesting and busy year. One project for was to celebrate the 200-year anniversary of .

The Palace has held court to Ireland's political leaders, media, cultural icons, and celebrities for centuries. So we thought… what if these walls could talk, what stories would they share?

ETC created a campaign called ‘Talking Walls, stories from a 200-year pub with history in every pour’.

We rolled out a video documentary series sharing stories from the walls of The Palace.

We also wanted to create something that would capture a moment in time. The most iconic piece of artwork is an Irish Times sketch from 1940, depicting The Palace at the epicentre of ‘Dublin Culture’, so we created a replica cartoon sketch depicting todays characters and legends, ‘Dublin Culture 2023’.

This framed sketch now sits proudly on The Palace wall next to the original. We also took out a double page spread in the Irish Times to showcase both, side-by-side.

We created a window vinyl with the original sketch for all to see as they walk past the bar, and also a series of beermats that form a jigsaw of the sketch. Each of the ‘jigsaw’ pieces gives a snippet of a story on the reverse and is linked one of the video documentaries.

Guinness created a special anniversary brew based on a 200-year old recipe from Arthur Guinness’s recipe book, and we used these bottles as invites for the anniversary party.

We also held a PR launch with a 2-hour Talking Walls broadcast from The Palace with .1009 where we unveiled the new sketch and a new Seamus Heaney Artwork.

A book of short stories called Talking Walls has also just been launched by historian Eamonn Casey.

And we secured national and regional media coverage with our PR campaign.

Thank you to and for the opportunity.
