Luke and flex are a Techno duo residing from Cork, Larry a.k.a Flex is no stranger to the scene with 20 + experience, Flex mastered the art of mixing on vinyl and supported some pretty heavy hitters like Chris liberator, Filip Xavi, Bás mooy. Luke & Flex are an exciting duo as they are a fusion of old school and Morden techno, bringing to the stage the fusion of that energy. The two lads have been

putting in countless hours and have racked up some great releases on top class labels like "Keep On Techno Records", "Viral Recordings". Additionally they were selected for a Various Artist Album for Viral Recordings, along the side of some of the countries finest Djs like Sarah lennox, Adrian Bilt and many more. The lads are also releasing on labels like SonarBliss and many more to come. Luke and flex also had the pleasure to be featured on Rebukes Raves series, these two are ones to watch.

Groove Shack proudly unveils the 'Synthesize EP,' the explosive debut from Irish duo Luke&flex. Showcasing their unique style, this EP brings together dark atmospheres and relentless rhythms for a powerful Techno experience.

The first track, 'Slave To My Beat,' channels a mysterious, Norse-inspired energy. Its deep, brooding soundscapes evoke a Viking-like intensity, pulling listeners into a world of hypnotic beats and shadowy synth work.

The title track, 'Synthesize,' shifts into a high-octane drive. With rolling percussion and sharp, eerie synth stabs cutting through the mix, perfect for peak-time moments on the dancefloor.

The EP also features two distinct remixes. VALHALLA, the label's own head honcho, brings a Hardgroove twist with added stabs and pulsating Latin tribal bongo percussion, injecting fresh rhythmic elements into the track. Meanwhile, maraxe73 delivers his signature Hard Techno remix, pushing the boundaries with an aggressive, no-holds-barred approach.

The 'Synthesize EP' is a dynamic release, fusing deep mystery with driving force-a statement debut for Luke & Flex and a powerful addition to the Groove Shack Records catalog.

Here is the very first track Luke Mcmahon and I produced to a standard we were happy to release, back then we focused more on Peak time Techno.
We were still very new to the process so the track is unmastered and released on an independent distribution company called distrokid.
It was the beginning of ITMand the start of our career as Techno producers.
We have progressed in production and style since then , now releasing mainly Hard Techno but will never forget our roots and how we got here.
