In Memory of those who lost their Battle...
In support of those who continue to fight...
And to those who have survived....
We think of you today.
Also to remind people to check yourselves regularly, go to the doctor if something feels wrong the earlier it's detected the better.
We need to bring back awareness and strive to find a cure and provide help and support to those with Cancer. So if you can, donate to a cancer charity of your choice today if you can't spread awareness ❤❤❤

Hand Fasting dates back to Brehen times more 7000 years ago. It’s actually where we coined the phrase “tying the knot”. It’s a very popular ceremony and can include Family and Friends. The fasting scan be made from cords, ribbons or coloured pieces of cloth. Each colour has a meaning and the couple choose their own. The fasting side can also be made from pieces of a loved ones clothing like Grandmothers Wedding dress or Dads ties, which makes the ceremony much more personal. The fasting scan then be framed as a memento of the day.

The Sand Ceremony is very popular. It’s a great way to include children, family members and friends. Each person has a different coloured sand which they gradually pour into one container, starting with the bride and groom. It signifies your lives as individuals, your partner, children and families combining together as one and like the grains of sand are now inseparable.
You can choose a piece of music, poem or a reading to accompany this.
If you would like to discuss your Wedding Ceremony I’d be happy to help. Please message me through my website www.alankinsellafamilycelebrant.ie

The content of your Wedding Ceremony - readings, poems/quotes, vows, music and rituals are all decided by you. It’s your day. You can have your ceremony the way you want it.
Rituals add a lovely romantic touch to a ceremony. Most date back further than Celtic times. One of the most popular is The Unity Candle Ceremony. 3 candles are arranged for you. Together you and your partner light the outside candles - usually at the beginning of your ceremony. This represents you as an individual. These candles can also be lit by the couples Mums, children, other family members or special friends as a way to include others in your day. After your vows, the couple lit the centre candle from their outside candles symbolising that although they are individuals they are now joined as one in marriage.
A piece of music, poem or meaningful quote can be included here. An example might be:

The taper candles being lit by ###x and ###x also represent their families; for it is their families who,
through love and support, helped shaped who they are. The center candle represents their marriage- the joining of two friends with the added roles of husband/wife/partner. It is the light of love and the light of new beginnings. From this day onward, may you bask in the beauty of the light of your love, May its light shine bright and steady upon your path together and may its heat keep you warm through all the days of your lives and beyond.
