A massive congratulations to our wonderful Julie Sharkey who will be directing The Cripple of Inishmaan, an uproarious black comedy by Martin McDonagh, brought to life by The Ballaghaderreen Players.

Set on the remote island of Inishmaan in 1934, this brilliant comic masterpiece tells the story of Cripple Billy, whose dream of escaping the monotony of island life leads him to pursue a role in a Hollywood film being made on a neighbouring island.

The Cripple of Inishmaan will be performed at the Roscommon Arts Centre on Friday 13th & Saturday 14th of December - you can grab your tickets below:

Last Thursday, the 5th of December, our brilliant Cathy White took to the stage at the Hugh Lane Gallery as part of the Salmagundi Community Film and Process Room.

Over the past eighteen months, this transcultural community group has poured their hearts into creating something extraordinary— born from collaboration and creativity. Cathy contributed not just as an actor but also as a writer, facilitator, and director, making the experience truly unforgettable.

Our very own Helen McGrath will be appearing in A CHRISTMAS VISIT for a run at Bewley's Cafe Theatre from the 2nd - 21st of December where she will reprise her role of Roisín.

Our wonderful Julie Sharkey will be appearing in NO MAGIC PILL - written by Christian O'Reilly, and directed by Raymond Keane. 🔥

NO MAGIC PILL is the heartfelt, hilarious and irreverent story of an activist and a celebration of love, friendship and the enduring pursuit of freedom. Inspired by real-life activist and wheelchair-user, Martin Naughton, leader of the disability rights movement in Ireland, who passed away in 2016.
