For the second year in a row, this St. Patrick's Day was a little unusual. Fortunately, this time around, like most people and businesses, we were far more prepared!

It was wonderful to see so many messages of hope and positivity around Dublin this St. Patrick's Day. We were proud to bring our St. Patrick's Day virtual events to teams all across the globe, and we hope in our own way, our events brought positivity, fun and hope to everyone involved. Caroline is Creative Event's very own Amelia Earhart. She's our very own Sonia O'. When it comes to hard work she's got the world's biggest engine and we're so proud to call her one of our own. On international women’s day we thought it appropriate to celebrate Caroline (Our Director) and women all around the world like her, that occupy leadership roles within teams, groups, organisations and corporations. 🙌🏼

This week we have the pleasure of welcoming Shane Harnett to the team at Create Events as International Sales Manager. Shane brings a wealth of experience gained over the past 20 years in the Irish Hospitality and events sectors. Having worked in some of Dublin’s largest bars, venues and hotels as sales, marketing and events manager.

More recently Shane worked in the DMC sector. Having gained experience at both local and International levels, Shane's next move was into the DMC market, selling Ireland as an Incentive destination across the US and Canada. Passionate about sales and getting the right product fit for the client’s needs.
