Erica & Brian tied the knot onsite in the absolutely beautiful picturesque heritage estate of
Vintage Affair planned, styled and created all the florals for this fairytale whimsical inspired wedding from start to finish. The wedding ceremony was enjoyed onsite in the cute old mill loft. This part of was once a mill! The original stone walls and exposed beams in this ceremony room are simply magical and created the perfect backdrop for our styling on the day. ✨
The colour palette was lush greenery with lots of texture and ivory flowers. We used delicate David Austin garden roses to give a timeless blousey look and to add a natural rose scent. Hydrangeas are our favourite too and so this was also a headline ingredient 👌🏻 wax flower really completed the whimsical look as well as stock for scent and delphinium for interest. Eucalyptus filled the venue with that beautiful earthy scent and ivy, ruscus & clematis built texture across all the flower designs, scenes and the bridal bouquets.

Ding d**g 🛎 ... Welcome inside Maple Tree House 🏡
I believe a few of you are interested to see inside my home 🧐😉
This is our hallway which is probably my favourite part of the house. The spacious, bright hallway and beautiful west facing garden was what instantly stood out to us and stole our hearts when we viewed this property.
After almost 2 years of a house hunting saga 😅 I am delighted to finally say this house is our forever home. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦
I’ve added pics of the house before, during renovations and now.
We are only starting our story in our new home and it’s by no means even near completed, there is still A LOT of work needing done but that’s all part of the fun and the adventure 😜 😜😜
For me, I’d rather slowly create the house of my dreams over time rather than moving into a brand new build and having the convenience of everything being done and dusted for us. I’d be bored bandy in a year and we’d be moving again 🤣🤣 (The one bathroom thing doesn’t really bother me with 3 boys in the house and the teeny weeny scullery we call our kitchen doesn’t bother me either, I swear 😩😅)
Lots of people are afraid of considering old houses while house hunting and they are turned off by the way the decor and layout of the house looks online or when they go to view the property. People are also turned off old houses due to the volume of work that may be required.... BUT older houses have so much character than more modern houses with unique features that new houses may not have. Also the gardens of older houses are generally a lot more sizeable (especially in Dublin) than new builds. I hope you enjoy my home interiors over the coming months and any questions just shout.

Hi, my name is Edel 💁🏼‍♀️ and I love being around women, FULL STOP.
Whether it’s preparing a bride 👰🏼 to walk up the isle on the day of their wedding to meet the man or woman of their dreams at the top of that isle, OR being with them throughout their pregnancy journey and beyond, both are exceptionally meaningful occasions that I am very lucky to be a part of.
Those of you that know me personally will know I followed my dreams and curated a life for myself whereby I get to do what makes me ‘tick’.... supporting women and being side by side with women on what many would describe as being two of THE most precious occasions in their lives;
As a Midwife being with women throughout their journey is nothing short of an absolute privilege. Witnessing a woman become a Mother is magic in its finest rawest form ✨ ✨ ✨ (there isn’t much that beats it) 🥰
and as a wedding stylist & planner I get to make dreams come true for each of my couples and share in a very similar type of magic 👰‍♀️ 🤵
Both roles must be deep routed with 3 key components
1. trust
2. professionalism
3. and love. Lots of love.
I genuinely feel like one of the luckiest girls in the world.
Even during these absolutely crap times I am forever grateful for the wonderful times I have shared and will continue to share with my women 🙌🏻
