I cant wait for my little clients this week!

One week until May and I hope Irish weather will become more kind to us :) not so moody :)
May will be busy in the studio, so if you are considering a baby or family session this is the right time to book.

The best newborn shoots are while baby sleeps, that's true because baby has very intense reflexes and her body is not well coordinated yet.
That makes 'awake' images a lot harder to get and sleepy images allow for some posing.
However your baby doesn’t have to be asleep during the full session.
I always try to get some awake shots when they wake up at some time, especially when I unwrap them or after feeding.
This gives often stunning effects and very surprising for such a small baby.

So how did your weekend go? I spent time editing recent sessions and having fun creating collages for clients! just like this one !⁠
The weather is moody but spring is around the corner and days become brighter ! I cant wait for more light!⁠
For me it means a lot more time outdoors and maybe beginning of family and maternity locations photoshoots. ⁠

This little baby girl was only 6 weeks during the photoshoot but was giving me the best looks and smiles I have seen in such a small baby :)⁠
Very cute ! ⁠
So new parents - I really encourage you to book the baby session even if you have missed the first two weeks time frame. ⁠
It is always worth it! ⁠
Most of my photo shoots are set up in a very safe environment, in my cosy home studio, which is specifically arranged for such purpose, so you have comfort while I take the first professional images of your baby. ⁠
