✨The wait is over! Our progressive monthly courses are back this February!

The Stepping Up Courses are focused on helping you grow as a dancer, improve your technique, and challenge yourself.

- 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽-𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 are all about exploring the magic of Blues dancing. They’re perfect for newcomers, beginners, or anyone seeking a fun, laid-back experience. Every week you’ll learn the fundamentals of this dance through basic moves that will engage you and motivate your progress to the next level.

- 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 will focus on technique and aesthetics to help you progressively refine your skills in Blues dancing. Designed to take your dancing to the next level, you’ll have more practice time and personalised feedback. Through the course, you'll also get free access to Drop-in Classes to continue practicing or challenging yourself further.

* Please note:
- The courses are set as 4-week sessions, even during months with 5 weeks.
- You must have attended at least 8 drop-in classes to attend this course.

Discover the Heart of Chicago Blues: Maxwell Street 🎶🎸

Maxwell Street was the heart of Chicago's blues scene, where the sound of the electric blues was born. In the early 20th century, the street’s open-air market became a meeting place for Black and Jewish communities, blending culture, commerce, and music. Blues musicians, many of whom would go on to become legends, performed on the sidewalks, amplifying their guitars to reach the crowds. This vibrant atmosphere helped shape the future of blues music, creating a legacy that continues to influence the genre today. Despite its demolition in the 1950s, Maxwell Street’s blues spirit lives on.
