Hey 10 days left to our Christmas party and final event of the year!

Hi !

Our long awaited Christmas Party and dinner is finally out, save the date 7th of December for a day filled with workshops, fun, food, drinks and Christmas atmosphere!

This year we’re bringing one of the top dancers and instructors in Europe who also worked extensively in the US, Gigi Bianco!

With Gigi we will deep dive into the roots of salsa, with a 3hr Salsa lab covering the topics:
- Son and Arms movements and Technique
- Rumba (combined with Son)
- Mambo Footwork (On2) - Full Project Style

📅 DATE & TIME:
SATURDAY 7th OF DECEMBER
Workshops 12PM
Dinner: 8PM (must be pre-booked)
Party: 9:30PM

📍 VENUE:
National Stadium, 145 South Circular rd, Dublin

All workshops will be taught On2 and will be suitable for both leaders and followers.
The level will be improvers (and up) and it will be focused on techniques on how to improve as a solo dancer.

Strictly Salsa social is back! 🤩

For the month of November we will be running a Friday Edition, on Friday 1st of November!

To get everyone dancing we will have a FREE Salsa class at 8:30pm so come join us!
As usual we will have our big room with the best Salsa & Bachata tunes played by DJ Fabio and DJ Dave.

As per popular demand we're bringing back a session dedicated to learn how to dance Salsa On2 for existing On1 dancers! This time with an extended format of 2-hour, on Saturday 5th of October and with an International teacher Gilberto Prado Mendez!

The structure has been created for you to understand the timing difference between in-line dancing On1 and On2, understand the salsa instruments that can help you dancing On2 and show you how to transition the same footwork and partnerwork moves you already know to a different timing.

Class is not suitable for complete beginners you need to have at least 6-12 months of experience dancing On1.

Our monthly party is happening this Saturday and we cannot wait to welcome back this incredible woman and DJ!

For the ones who don't know her, Tulimar is originally from Venezuela, she has been spinning salsa, mambo, guaguancó, cha-cha, bachata and other Latin sounds nationally and internationally, working for some of the best salsa organisers in the UK and Europe!
She was the winner of the "Lifetime Salsa Award" at the Berlin Salsa Congress 2019, and she's a regular DJ at many other big Salsa Festivals in Europe for the likes of El Sol Warsaw, Croatia Summer Festival, Mambo City in London and many more!

Also Tuli is a an amazing dancer so leaders you're in for a treat, ask her to dance when you spot her on the dance floor!

Strictly Salsa Monthly Social is back on Saturday 3rd of August, and we're bringing back one of top Salsa DJs in Europe and one of most loved DJs in Ireland, DJ TULI! 🤩

Strictly Salsa social is back! 🤩

On Saturday the 6th of July we will have our fantastic Monthly Party with a free salsa class at 8:30pm to get everybody in the mood, and we will also have the debut of the new shows by the Queens Project by Johely Guilarte doing a salsa and a bachata show, as well as the new solo show by Johely!

Amazing day and night planned for this Saturday 1st of June, with international artists Dimitris Psychogyios & Yolena Kapoli! 🔥

3hr of Salsa training split into two 90-min workshops of footwork & partnerwork to get the most out of the training.
Workshops will be taught On2, if you're not confident enough in this style yet please get in touch with us for transition class help.

There are 12 spaces left, the ratio leaders/followers has improved so we recommend all followers that are interested to get the footwork pass in order to get upgraded to the full pass with the partnerwork class.

Just under 2 weeks to our next event with international Salsa artists Dimitris Psychogyios & Yolena Kapoli! 🔥

Full passes for followers are on hold until a couple of more leaders sign up. However, the ratio has improved so if you're a follower and want to take part of this please get the 90-min footwork & body movement pass, and let us know you want to be added to the waiting list for you to upgrade to partnerwork class too (on a first come first served basis).

Also, if your main style is Salsa On1 and would like to take part of this event we've prepared for the next two weeks an On1 to On2 transition class to get you up to speed and being able to learn and dance both styles, please check our profile for info on transition classes.

We will have a break in between workshops for people to have some snacks and drinks, refreshements will be also provided.

As per popular demand we're bringing back a class completely dedicated to On1 dancers who would like to also learn On2 style!

At Strictly Salsa we believe these type of students need a dedicated class rather than trying to jump in either in complete beginners class or higher level and feeling lost. 

The structure has been created for you to understand the timing difference between in-line dancing On1 and On2, understand the salsa instruments that can help you dancing On2 and show you how to transition the same footwork and partnerwork moves you already know to a different timing.

Class is not suitable for complete beginners you need to have at least 6-12 months of experience dancing On1.

Transition class is on Thursday at 7:30pm, cost is €10 and will also give you access to a second class at 8:30pm with the Beginners level 2 group where you can keep practicing your timing.
