Hi Everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here so just wanted to keep everyone updated on what’s happening with my page.
I have some news!!
I’m expecting a new addition to the family👶🍼 in January so I’ve decided to put balloons on the back burner til after then at least
I will do all orders I have booked in but after that I will not be doing any more. There are some other great balloon artists around so I’m sure you will all be well looked after.
I am thinking of doing something a little less stressful and easier to keep with as I’ve had a tough few months and need to relax. Please don’t worry if I have you in the book already I will not let you down!!
Thanks for all the support I’ve gotten over the last few years and I hope you will all support me in my next little venture💗

Hi everyone, so after a lot of consideration I’ve decided not to take any new orders for the foreseeable future.
Life is hectic at the minute and I just need some time to focus on myself and my family.
I will be back to taking orders but just not too sure when. I will continue to do all the orders I have booked so please don’t worry if you have ordered with me.

The unfortunate truth of owning and running business’s.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store or company.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just no work-life balance.

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the counsellor, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years.
If they are successful they are overwhelmed.

It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with really hectic lives.

Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

And know that 2022 prices are not 2023 prices.
