We welcome .p.martin.irl from Navan to .cadorocks Friday 18th October edition. 💚🎶

Aiden Paul Martin is a singer-songwriter from Navan. Playing original music for the first time in 7 years, he is in the final stages of recording his debut album.
Stepping away from the full band and bringing these songs back down to their acoustic roots.

Lapdog are an Alt-Rock band. They go from softer, somber melodies and throw themselves into effects-rich, ear piercing and pumping songs. Mixing elements of 90's alt-rock, post-punk and shoegaze among others, Lapdog offers a rich and varied sound.

We are thrilled to have Midweek Crisis return to Avocado Rocks this FRIDAY 18TH OCTOBER at Toales. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Midweek Crisis are a 4 piece indie / rock / punk band of grown up teenagers from the borderlands of Dundalk Ireland, formed in 2019 through a shared love of diverse music. Their sound is a unique blend of their 80s and 90s influences and post-punk sensibilities, telling stories of failure and triumph with a big heart and a healthy lack of respect for the absurdity of our times. The band have played live shows in venues in Dundalk and Dublin, Ireland including The Spirit Store and Fibber Magees, recorded a series of promotional videos with The Lockup Studio Dundalk and released a first batch of singles. The band have recorded the songs for their debut album, with their latest single release in August 'Dundalk Deadbeat which is available on all platforms.
Midweek Crisis are Gus Cullen, Gerry Faulkner, Andrew Clarke and Elliott Lusk.

Ines Khai is a Guadeloupean singer, songwriter and composer who has developed her own distinctive sound, magical collaboration of styles. A captivating blend of Gwoka, Soul and Blues. Ines' lyrics, melodies and rhythms are organic and produce lush, dreamlike soundscapes.

Introducing our next act who is no stranger to Avocado Rocks, the amazing Bobby Manshee!

Bobby Manshee, Is an English-Irish Rapper, Singer, Songwriter & Beat Maker originally from Peckham Rye, London, United Kingdom living in Dundalk, Co. Louth. Started freestyle rapping to artists' songs at 14, & at 16 he started writing lyrics, then at 19 he learned how to make beats to perform originals but his biggest struggle was confidence because he was born with autism. Eminem's song Not Afraid inspired him to start performing at many events, from the Gig In The Garden, to performing at the Irish Youth Music Awards where he got a great review. Independent stated: "Bobby received a great reaction & had the crowd buzzing during his performance" Performed at The Aviva Stadium in 2015. He got the chance to record his song in Temple Lane in Dublin. His favorite type of genres are Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B & EDM & major influences come from Chris Brown, Logic, NF, Krept and Konan, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Tinie Tempah, Bugzy Malone, Stormzy & Dizzee Rascal.

Bobby has been doing open verse challenges on TikTok & recently released his EP "Autistic To Artistic."
