Cracking gig last Saturdays 25tth of January with Mary Nugent Music. Really enjoyed this one (of course) and we were treated to a couple of poems by Molly The Poet who made a guest appearance & read out a poem about Fermoy!

First gig of the year and off to a very positive start🤩.....hang on tight - here we go.....🎢

Carsie Blanton will be joining us this April, and hers will be the second of a new series of concerts we’re launching this year called The Mid-Week Sessions

The Mid-Week Sessions is a small, select series of concerts that will be donation based rather than having a ticket cover charged. And as the name implies, they’ll be mid-week evening events. Pre-booking for €1 is advised to secure a seat.

Massive shout out and a thank you to Fermoy Pantomime for a brilliant night and a brilliant performance from the youngest (probably no more than 4 years old) and the more experienced. It was a humongous effort and a true community one at that. Pictured are only two of the cast that I was lucky enough to meet back-stage - Liam English AKA 'Dame Dolly Ratsburger' (who was advised not to open a restaraunt under her name) & Donna Keeney as one of two squirrels😅...Brilliant performance by both and of course the Dame (arguably) stole the show.

Lads, if you've not been and live anywhere near Fermoy, you'd better have a good excuse to miss out on this unique amazing local amateur event - support local - support culture - even enjoy yourself!

We're delighted to see the legendary gent Ger Wolfe visit us again this year (doesn't time fly!!) - a guaranteed beautiful evening of Irish folk and tradional songs from a man who very much fits the description of our bards of old - 'bairde, fonnadóir, Cliarí, oirfideach are but a few names for these story tellers of old....incidentaly the popular Irish name Barra derives from 'bairde'. So if you knoe a Barra - they must come😊
