OH MY GOD…I cannot believe it!! The Bridal Gallery won the BEST START UP BUSINESS award at the Gorey Awards last night 🙌🏼. I am over the moon with this award and overwhelmed by the amount of messages and good wishes I have received 🥰. Thank you so much for your votes and support of The Bridal Gallery ✨ . I appreciate it all more than you know and I feel very humbled by it all 💕. Thank you to my amazing family and friends for believing in me and giving me the courage to pursue my dream 💫.

Congratulations to all the nominees and award winners in each category last night. A great achievement for all. Thanks to the organisers of the Gorey Awards, the staff in the Amber Springs Hotel and all the sponsors for creating such a rewarding event.

Decide who you are going to bring with you to your bridal styling appointment. You are probably thinking that this is easier said than done!👰🏻‍♀️

In my experience, less is more! Most bridal boutiques recommend no more than 4 guests and there is good reason for this. 💫

While you may have a wide support network who would love to go wedding dress shopping with you, it is important to think about what you are trying to achieve. Your guests will be supporting you and excited for you, but too many opinions can drown out your own. The focus tends to become more on the group’s reaction to a dress rather than what the bride herself is looking for. This leads to confusion and doubt about how she feels in the dress, and can lead to an element of pressure to make a decision.

Honest options and feedback are always welcome, so it is advisable to be selective about who you want to hear this from!

A few close friends and/or family members usually works well. Some brides like to bring more and some come to their appointment on their own. Have a chat with your bridal stylist before your appointment to help decide what would work best for you 😊.
