Hi everyone, a different kind of post tonight!! I am humbly reaching out to you to seek your support in the form of your nomination for BEST START UP in the Gorey Business Awards! 🌱

I am almost a year in business now and it has been the most amazing journey. Starting this business was something I wanted to do for many years, but there was always a reason to put it off. Life is busy and I kept pushing the idea back. When I finally decided to hit ‘GO’ on this dream, I knew it would be a leap of faith. But I felt I would have more regrets in my life if I didn’t try. The support from my family and friends was key to giving me the courage to go for it and I haven’t looked back. I am indebted to so many people who have played a role in helping me get to this point and I value their experience and advice every day.

Like everything, there have been great days and not so great days, but I have loved every step of this incredible journey. It has been such a learning curve and I am learning something new everyday…even as simple as how to do an Instagram post back in the early days 😂. I have had the privilege of meeting the most fabulous people since I opened the doors of The Bridal Gallery. I love being part of a bride’s wedding journey and being in a position to bring joy into her life. I absolutely love, love, love what I do and have no regrets about embarking on this new venture. 💕

I have been encouraged by many people to go for this award and seek nominations. If there are enough nominations, short listing will then determine who goes through to the voting stage. The voting will again go to a public vote, but nominations are needed to start the process. This award is for the best Start Up business that you feel has proven noteworthy of recognition for their efforts or success.💫
