Rachel Pilkington has been working as a professional actor across film, television, and theatre since graduating from The Gaiety School of Acting in 1995. Since then, she has performed on stage at The Abbey, The Gaiety, The Project, and Smock Alley. She has also worked extensively in film and television, including 3 years on Glenroe, 7 years on The Clinic, and 9 years on Fair City.
Over the course of her career, Rachel has played opposite some of Ireland’s most accomplished actors including Saoirse Ronan, Stephen Rea, Chris O' Dowd, Aidan Turner, Gary Lydon, David Wilmot, Aisling O’ Sullivan, and Liam Cunningham. In 2004, she was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress award at the IFTA's for her role in The Clinic, and in 2014, she won Best Actress at the Underground Cinema Film Awards for her role in the short film Cut Me Deep.
Rachel has also been a guest presenter on several occasions at the live Irish Film & Television Award ceremonies in Dublin, and she is represented by Voicebank for her voice-over work.
