JUST ENGAGED? Well let me start off by saying congrats and follow up with a few tips to get you started:

1. Take time to choose your wedding party
Take your time and carefully consider who you want to stand by your side on your special day. People's circumstances can change, and your preferences may evolve over time. By waiting a few weeks or more after you get engaged to make these decisions instead of doing it in the days following because of pure excitement (which is understandable), you can avoid hurting anyone's feelings or having awkward conversations.

2. Be mindful of the financial commitment for your wedding party
Ensure that your bridesmaids are comfortable with the financial commitment involved in being part of the wedding party. It is ok for them to say no to your request to be in your bridal party too, please don’t take it personally if this does happen. As the planning process progresses, check in with them halfway through to prevent any surprises or last-minute dropouts from the bridal party because they can’t bear the financial pressure.

3. Ignore the "Rules"
Don't get caught up in unnecessary rules and expectations. Remember that your wedding day is an opportunity to do whatever pleases you. There are no hard and fast rules beyond making sure you and your guests have fun! The pressure of following tradition can be really overwhelming and if it just isnt for you then re-write the rules.

IT’S YOUR WEDDING DAY // What now?
The night before your wedding can be filled with both excitement and stress, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep. To combat this, be prepared to do some pampering, try and avoid alcohol and maybe indulge in a face mask to help you look and feel your best, even if you didn't get much rest.

Amidst the whirlwind of your wedding day, make sure to carve out a few moments alone with your new spouse to truly absorb the significance of the day. By scheduling some alone time in your timeline, you can catch your breath and fully appreciate the moment. 💖😮‍💨

Show appreciation for your wedding vendors/supppliers who are dedicated to making your day special. Taking care of their needs by providing them with food while you sit for dinner is always very appreciated and not always done.

Remember that with a large wedding, it's impossible to speak to everyone in attendance. Instead of stressing over this fact, focus on enjoying the day with your spouse and closest family and friends.

MEMORABLE MENUS // you might not give it a second thought after your venue says "oh we provide you with menus, there's no need to worry about that" until the day speeds along closer to you and then you realise your menu will sit in a venue branded A5 (used many many times) folded card and you'll get three or four of them on the table for your guests to 'share'.

So... you've put all this thought into your menu, meaning what your guests will actually eat on the day. You've done your menu tasting, thought long and hard about what you want to serve to your guests, listened to lots of family opinions about what to include (there will be plenty when it comes to the menu, I promise you!).

The next step in this journey is your menu design. Think about it, you've planned this beautiful tablescape where you've considered the linen, napkins, chargers, cutlery, glassware, flowers, candles, place cards.

No tablescape is complete without adding a beautifully styled menu for each of your guests. It really does complete the look and there are so many options to choose from if you want to be a little different such as:
