We had a great weekend recently celebrating a family birthday in our own little pub for the weekend Thanks to Ken from Bóthar Bar it was a big hit and the rain didn’t dampen the celebrations, we were sorry to see it leave 😊

The twelfth and last day of Christmas, January 6th known as Nollaig na mBan or Womens Christmas, the custom was for women to visit friends and neighbours and enjoy each other’s company with tea and the last of the Christmas cake! So stick on the kettle and enjoy and a cuppa and some cake or a biscuit 😊
