🌟TONIGHT🌟

Broadway and West End star, Rachel Tucker in concert.

Rachel will be joined by special guests Tony Carty, Sarah Brennan, Zach O’ Brien, and Jacinta Hegarty.

Tickets available from watergatetheatre.com!

Rachel has just completed her run as Persephone in Hadestown at the Lyric Theatre in London, following her performance in Sunset Boulevard at the Savoy Theatre, playing the lead role of Norma Desmond alongside Nicole Scherzinger. Prior to that, she starred in Come From Away on Broadway, playing the role of Annette/Beverley Bass, the role she originated in London and which earned her an Olivier Nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2019.

Rachel became best known for her interpretation of Elphaba in London’s West End production of Wicked at the Apollo Theatre. After playing the role for three years and over one thousand performances, she became the show’s longest running consecutive ‘Green Witch’ and, as a consequence, was invited to play Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.

It's movie night with 'Small Things Like These' at 7.30pm.
Tickets €7

New Ross, 1985. Bill Furlong is a hard-working coal merchant, doing his best to support his family amid the challenging conditions of 1980s Ireland. In the lead-up to Christmas, Bill makes a morning delivery to the local convent. There, an encounter with one of the convent’s traumatised residents shakes him to his very core. It forces him to ask questions about the nuns’ conduct that nobody else dares say aloud.

Based on Claire Keegan’s novel, Small Things Like These explores one man’s efforts to confront the culture of silence and complicity in Catholic Ireland. Starring Cillian Murphy in his first leading role since his Oscar-winning turn in Oppenheimer, the film also features Emily Watson as the convent’s powerful Mother Superior.
