Magical moments in the garden this afternoon courtesy of Secret Garden Music Series.
Today, the gathering was treated to a wonderfully uplifting performance by the legendary Martin Hayes. It was foot tappingly good and so enjoyed by every man, woman, child (and a couple of doggies!) that came together around the pond and heard Martin play!
Looking forward to seeing who will ‘pop up’ for tomorrow and Thursday’s concerts.

A rare treat in the Garden View Bar this evening as Sligo based harper, David Lawless of Trad Softly.
David, a Sligo based harper played his wire strung harp for a lovely party of guests gathered to enjoy evening drinks in the Bar.
The original Irish harp - a more primitive version since eclipsed by the modern harp, provably dates back 1000 years. David explained that his harp is modelled on the dimensions of the Brian Boru harp that you can see in Trinity College Dublin…fascinating.
