STAGE TECHNICIAN - This role is a key role in the team at both theatres, providing technical support to the incoming performers and companies.

Closing date for applications: Monday, September 16th at 5.30pm.

EVENT DUTY MANAGER - This role, formerly known as the FOH Manager, is a key element of the team at both theatres, as the role involves ensuring a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for our audiences to enjoy the shows and events presented.

The staff of the Lime Tree Theatre | Belltable are heartbroken at the loss of John Murphy, our close friend and colleague. John was an integral part of our team and was loved by all of us, some of whom have known John since the early days of Island Theatre Company. The Limerick arts community is also deeply grieving his loss and we will all miss him terribly.

Our deepest condolences to his mother Olga, his father George, to his brother Frank, his niece Melissa and all his family.

Both theatres will remain closed on Monday, August 26th.

For this edition, Hardware founding members Chaz Moloney & Brawni have invited local electronic musicians R.Kitt & Tadhg K to join them for the next 4 hour live improvisation at Belltable.

Hardware Visual Artists; Alt for Jesus, Nancy El Azzi, Ohhi Ohno, Rosin Berg & RAM will be exhibiting work made to the theme “Machina” in the Ambient Lounge. The Lounge’s soundscape is being curated by local artist Jack Brolly.

Upside Down & Underground is a new performance by artist Isadora Epstein which invites audiences into an imaginative underworld. An archaeologist (Stéphane Béna Hanly) leads the way to unearth a dancing bog body (Aoibhinn O'Dea), accompanied by new songs by musician Róisín Ní Haicéid, familiar ballads sung by Paddy Critchley, and a supernatural, subterranean sound-scape by Mícheál Keating.

The performance will be followed by a night of dancing to music from DJ Tom Prendergast.

Belltable Late Night brings Upside Down and Underground

Presented by Ormston House, Upside Down & Underground is a new variety show from the underworld hosted by artists Isadora Epstein and Stéphane Béna Hanly featuring performances by dancer Aoibhinn O’Dea, musicians Róisín ní Hacéid and Paddy Critchley, and surprise guests.

The Young Curators Venue Network is seeking a panel of innovative and ambitious young people for our fifth Young Curators Programme which will run from July 2024 to June 2025.
