MEET THE MAKER! ⬇️

So A lovely lady from America visited the studio recently on her trip to Ireland & after taking some photographs she send me this one.

I adored telling her the story of this special piece of art I created for a customer & it was amazing to chat about the creative process behind it.🤍 I honestly feel like this piece of art was a huge turning point for me as an artist it really opened up my eyes to what was possible with my art….🫶🏼

I keep saying I will create more like it & I am working a little on it but it’s been hard to carve out enough time to make a impact, I keep reminding myself “ little by little becomes a lot “ buuuut my plan is during the days I am in the Pop-Up store to create a piece I have been dreaming of making! ✨✨✨

I would love you to visit & see it being made. I will be instore myself from the 16th - 25th of August Unit 10 at the 🥳🧑🏼‍🎨🌸

A lovely lady Sinead dropped in a receipt from 1995 that meant so much to me.. it was a receipt from “ Nancy Lawless Flowers “ my Nanas business.🥹 I was so moved by my Nanas handwriting & inspired by the beautiful logo. She is 95 now & was definitely ahead of her time back when she opened in 1984.🌸

I re created the logo as I saw it & am obsessed with the movement of the little guy, he has some pep in his step off to deliver his flowers. 😂

My Nana has always been a huge inspiration in my life & a wonderful teacher of so much. She taught me my love for flowers & the craft of Flower Pressing.

I can’t wait to give this as a gift to my Nana Nancy💓

During the application process it was lovely to reflect on the last 4+ years in Business and of course to focus on what my future plans for the business are. Its all very exciting and I am so grateful to be a finalist amongst such amazing women! ✨

All bridal bouquets are so special but this bouquet was made by the brides best friend which makes it that bit more unique 🤍 What a wonderful job Michelle did making it too!🌸

I was so happy to see Antionettes kind words about the piece we created for her & I couldn’t be happier to think that this piece of art will be handed down through the generations 🥹

Our new product!!! Beautiful Handmade Notebooks🥹

We launched these instore on Saturday & the reaction was phenomenal , thanks to those who purchased. 💖 They are now available online on our website! 🥳

Since I was tiny I always adored notebooks & diary’s. I always had one in hand and since opening a business the one notebook became many many notebooks all on the go at once. I loved the ethos behind who we worked with on these. They are handmade in Co.Cork using old style craftsmanship & they are so sound. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Over the moon to now have my own “badly made book” I went with two of my favourite designs from recently and they are available in lines, blank & some limited diary’s! Shop online or visit us instore on Saturday📝

New Opening Hours❣️

We are so delighted to be so busy & have decided to update our opening hours to better serve our customers!💗

This change means we will now be working harder than ever & more focused behind the scenes Monday - Friday creating your gorgeous orders.🌸🌼🌺

Going forward, we’ll be open every Saturday to welcome you into our world of Pressed Flowers by Nell so pop in any Saturday.

Please note, any current appointments will not be effected and we will still be offering drop off times for Flower Drop offs‼️
