A beautiful Autumn October day for Deb & Tim, all the way from the USA along with family & close friends❤️

Cloughan Castle is an absolutely magical place that made the vision of my Irish wedding come to life and was more than I could have ever imagined. Planning a wedding is always stressful but planning from a different country adds a whole new layer of stress. Kim from Cloughan managed to take all of my stress away. Kim gave recommendations and helped to plan all of the big details such as catering and transportation to the small details like where to get the wedding clothes pressed and music for the wedding. Kim thought of everything! The castle itself is nothing short of magical; from the beautifully furnished rooms to the immaculate grounds, it was absolutely perfect! We had 14 of us staying here for 2 nights and everything was truly amazing. You would not think you would be cozy and comfortable in a castle, but that is exactly what we were. They have managed every detail to make you feel welcomed, comfortable, and grateful to have the opportunity to stay in such a special place. The castle and grounds as a backdrop make for some really amazing wedding pictures. All of our wedding guests were awestruck when first arriving to the castle. It was such a fun experience to see everyone’s reaction. We held our wedding ceremony in the banquet room and it was truly stunning. After the dance, our magical night ended up on the top of the castle outside watching the Northern Lights. It was the perfect way to end the most wonderful day. Thank you to some very special people and vendors: Cloughan Castle, Kim, Lourda, Justin Comer Catering, Maurice McCarthy, Perfect Details, Spellbound Photography, Corrib Quartet, Carol’s Cakes, Executive Travel, Pauline Fletcher, Rosaleen’s Hair, DJ Tommy and Michele Feeney. All recommended by Kim at Cloughan and all were truly fantastic!

Incredible. Cloughan Castle was a once in a lifetime experience that me and my wife are so happy to have made as the destination for our wedding. We had 30 guests attend from the states and those 30 guests are still talking about it 6 months later. It was all simply beautiful; the castle, the ceremony, everyone involved throughout the process, it was all was just beautiful. The staff was also very loving and accommodating to our rambunctious and jetlagged little 4-year-old boy who was on top of the world thinking that he was living in a medieval fantasy!

We had some fantastic vendors involved on our special day; most notably the incredible food supplied by Wild Catering Company, the bartender, Maurice, and staff and his staff were sublime and kept the Guinness flowing, as well as our officiant Michelle Feeney, who hit the perfect balance of funny and romantic throughout the ceremony.
We also were put in contact with a very talented Irish Dance group via Carmel, as well as a wonderfully talented harpist named Clara. Fiona was so kind and helped keep our 4 year old entertained and a constant supply of snacks for him, and water, drinks, and appetizers for me and my wife throughout he hurricane. Also a special shout-out to the lovely Lourda who coordinated everything down to the minute and kept me from freaking out too much on the day of!

We would 1000% recommend utilizing Cloughan Castle as a place for an event or a wedding, we would not have changed anything different. The staff was so lovely and helpful through the entire process and it truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that me, my wife, and our guests will never forget.
