We are a locally based florist studio growing a beautiful selection of traditional flowers and foliage on our hill top flower farm in West Cork. Our vision is to create unique and artistic floral designs using seasonal and homegrown flowers. Our floral creations are inspirited by nature's ever changing forms and the fusion of its vivid & subtle colour tones.

Hanna and Kalus have been flower farming in West Cork since the early 90's. This spot on the mountatian has evolved and changed over the years. Bringing plentiful flowers for market bouquets, weddings and workshops. The glass house was originally Hannas grandfather's which Klaus packed up from Germany and reconstructed here in Inchigeelagh, Cork... a labour of love, its has been the workroom of the entire flower farm for many years.

Summer feels far away with the frost this morning

Here's a Summer Wedding at one of our favourite churches in Kenmare. It has the perfect doorway for a wildflower arch.

The bride asked for small flowers in yellow, blue and white. Perfect choice for the season.

A gorgeous venue for a beautiful couple! We love using locally grown eucalyptus as a statement piece, in the next photos we transported these pieces to the reception to decorate the marquee quite beautifully along with some tall cylinder vases full of seasonal flowers and textural elements.

A lovely bouquet from a small group workshop a couple years back.

We first went to the cutting field then came back to the flower studio to try out hand-tied bouquets and other essential floristry techniques.

Looking forward to having workshops again, but it seems like they may have to wait until next year since the flower season is coming to a close.

Cafe au lait dahlias can be a tricky flower to arrange with as some can be just too large for the average bouquet, but when it works out they can make such a beautiful arrangement.

A peek into another of our glass houses

We mainly grow late summer amaranth us in this smaller glass house. We also have vines of grapes that come handy with centerpiece work in the early fall.

In the winter we will bring in our potted helebore plants for winter and spring cut flowers.

We currently have lots of gorgoues seasonal gift bouquets available in our webshop this week. We are shifting from summer to autumn in the flower fields, with lots of golden hues and textural accents, ornaments grasses and foliage.

Last week we were celebrating a family milestone over in Germany, (Hanna's dad turned 90!)

Even away from the flower farm we're never to far from flowers!

What a great variety to choose from at the local flower market.

Happy to be home again! Klaus and Ombre will be at the Coal Quay market with a lots of gorgeous flowers for you all. Grown in Inchigeelagh Cork, of course!

A studen design from a 1:1 Tutelage workshop by the talented

Nests are a favourite designing vessel in the flower studio, here it has been used as a mechanic to hold a seasonal display of farm grown flowers and grasses.

Hana has always been a florist, learning sustainable forestry skills from her mum, while growing up in a flower shop in her hometown in Germany. Her father and grandfather were both in horticulture and her mum often used their own flowers in designs. These two knowledges coupled together helped define Hana's floristry design style. Since moving to Ireland in the 90's Hana and her partner Klaus have continued the tradition of growing and designing flowers from their flower farm in West Cork.

Knowing how plants grow and growing your flowers can greatly benefit your florist skills! These are the mainstay of Hanako's Flower School workshops
