BLOSSOMS are excited to offer a retail position in a friendly, exciting and fast paced environment in our Floral & Home Styling Boutique in Ballina, Co Mayo.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and friendly team member, who will help maintain our high customer service standard and deal with daily tasks, order taking and customer service.

Requirements;
·       An interest in, and understanding of flowers, home design and styling.
Be able to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced, sometimes pressured, environment, prioritising tasks, foreseeing challenges and having quick problem-solving skills.

·       Exceptional customer service skills and be friendly, polite, positive and pro-active. Candidate should be able to work as part of a team and follow instruction, as well as use their own initiative, be flexible and willing to adapt to suit the needs of the business and team

·       Fluent written and spoken English essential.

·       Good computer skills essential as we use a software system for taking orders.

·       Good awareness of & ability to use different media apps such as Instagram, Facebook, Canva and others.

·       Position is part-time with busy periods possibly requiring extra work days, including weekend work, so flexibility is paramount.

·       Experience in floristry is not essential but some basic knowledge of flowers may be a benefit

Position:

Flexible Part-time position of 4-5 days per week in a busy retail environment assisting customers, taking orders, and maintaining shop & stock. Full training will be given.

2024 is going to be a colourful year.

Baby breath, it's a love / hate relationship for me.

Reasons I love it: it's bright & uncluttered looking, it has potential to create stunning installations, it's long lasting.
Reasons I hate it: it's smells awful (cats p*e) but we can mask that. It's makes mixed bouquets look dated.

If you love baby breath, dare to be modernise it. Update baby breath designs by creating unusual shapes & installations of all baby breath, go all out & create a wow factor with it or Opt for coloured baby breath to create a different vibe.
