The Ulster Fry. Our pride and joy. It gets us through the week, connects us with friends in the local spot with a cuppa, or perks us up that Sunday morning.
Who produces your favourite Ulster Fry in County Monaghan? Nominate a restaurant you want to compete in the Monaghan competition, with the winner moving on to the Ulster Fry World Championship on 17 August 2024 in Donaghadee, Co. Down.
Participating restaurants must provide a fry that consists of sausage, bacon, egg, soda bread, and potato bread and be available for the general public to order. At the end of the nomination period, the top five nominees will be visited by a secret panel of judges, who will pick the winner to send on. Each fry will be judged on taste, appearance, and use of local produce.
