A true Scotland lover, we trust Scott will introduce Horizons Scotland as the perfect solution for DMCs and become a key part of our dynamic team. As Scott says, “I see my role as a direct representation of the team’s skills and knowledge, plus my own—and I’m excited to become part of that!”.

Last week, our Tour Partner Group team came together to reflect on the year’s achievements in Group Business and FIT, while looking ahead to the exciting milestones on the horizon. Naturally, MICE was high on the agenda as we discussed our partnerships and shared inspiration for the year ahead.

And honestly, it is—especially when you get the chance to visit incredible partners who take hospitality to the next level! On our recent trip, we had the pleasure of connecting with some of Scotland’s finest venues: W Edinburgh, Gleneagles Townhouse, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants , InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (The George), and The Caledonian Edinburgh .

The purpose? To catch up with our partner hotels and discuss exciting plans for next year—it's all about building on great relationships and creating more unforgettable experiences for our clients. We also introduced Scott Grieve, our new Director of Sales in Scotland, and Magalie, our Senior Project Manager, who are both bringing fresh energy to the team!

One moment we’re proud to highlight from the last few day is when our Director of Business Development, Jack Owens, spoke at the “AITA?: Incentive Travel Edition” panel. He offered valuable insights on how incentive travel can drive meaningful results and strengthen teams – nice work Jack.

Is Ireland on your wishlist for 2025 programmes? After watching the latest FAM trip video, it absolutely should be!🍀

Reflecting on a recent adventure, crafted by our dedicated team with support from Meet in Ireland, which explored the breathtaking landscapes and rich culture of the Emerald Isle.

One of the real gems was Inis Oirr, an enchanting little island off the coast of Galway, with its cosy pubs and warm-hearted locals. The journey then moved to Galway, where they enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the lively cobbled streets and indulged in an exceptional dining experience at the Pullman restaurant. The following day offered a gastronomic exploration of Irish cuisine on a curated food tour, followed by an exciting session of Gaelic Games that provided an authentic taste of Irish culture. The adventure concluded with a hands-on experience at Tribe Gin School, where participants mastered the art of gin-making.

Over the last two weeks our phenomenal team have been busy welcoming over 2,000 delegates to the Emerald Isle! While we hope to share more on that soon, we're excited to highlight another recent success.
Six months of meticulous planning culminated last month in a magnificent gala dinner for 400 attendees, hosted by an International Association at the iconic Concert Hall in Ireland. The event was a testament to our team's hard work and the trust placed in us by our clients.
While the food was so delightful that we didn't manage to capture any photos, it speaks volumes of the quality provided by our impressive supplier RDS .
