In the last few years the Boyne Valley Viking Experience has grown to a popular attraction in Ireland, allowing visitors of all ages to step into the past and meet viking age reenactors from all over Europe.
A big thanks goes not only to the viking reenactors for their continuous support but also to our amazing volunteers who help to make the event what it is and tirelessly work to help create a great experience for our visitors.
Yesterday we gave thanks to some of our amazing volunteers and vikings by bringing them out to An Gobha, the blacksmith of the Boyne Valley.
They are already looking forward to be back with us and you all on the 17th and 18th of May at Slane Castle 鈿旓笍鈿旓笍鈿旓笍

The weekend is over and the field below Slane castle lies bare again.
We want to thank all the reenactors who came from over 10 different countries to be at this year's Boyne Valley Viking Experience .
We want to give also a special thanks to all our visitors who embraced the atmosphere and enjoyed a great weekend with us 馃鈿旓笍鈿旓笍鈿旓笍
Another big thank you to the great team of Slane Castle for having us in their beautiful grounds but also looking after all the catering.
Tired but happy Viking went home into all directions and we will share the videos and photos with you soon.
