We are open on weekends only during September from 10am - 6pm. Copper Coast Mini Farm is a family run farm, located in Fenor, Co Waterford. Just 10 minutes drive outside of Tramore. Set on 7 acres it is home to over 100 animals including an Alpaca, Llamas, Rhea, Sika Deer, Horses, Miniature Ponies and Donkeys, Pygmy, Nubian and Toggenberg Goats, Sheep, a ‘Micro’ Pig and Highland Cattle. Also a var

iety of Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Chinchillas, Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys and a Swan. Our facilities include a large Sand Barn with buckets & spades, and many large benches to sit at and have a coffee while the kids play. And a Play Barn with a Soft Play Area for toddlers, toys, couches and a large seated area for Birthday Parties. Our large Playground caters for all ages while our Go-Kart Track caters for the older kids. Our Cafe, the newly refurbished Copper Kettle Tearooms, provides homemade soups and bakes. Our scones are baked daily and go down well with a cup of freshly brewed tea or a Mean Bean Cappuccino. We also provide a variety of hot food such as pizzas, toasted sandwiches, wraps and our famous homemade taco chips. Our treats include, jellies and a selection of chocolate bars and crisps. At the back of the Tearooms is a large green area with plenty of outdoor seating. The pathway is lined with ride-on tractors, cars and push bikes. There is plenty of space to have a picnic. Copper Coast Mini Farm is a fun, educational, safe and friendly place for both adults and children alike.

As we close our doors for the last time this year, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful customers who visited us this season. It was so lovely meeting you all. Thank you for the support, the laughs, and the great memories.

If you would like to spend some time interacting with friendly animals, playing in the play ground, sand barn or spinning around on the go-carts, toy tractors and cars and eat a tasty lunch or enjoy an ice cream or Mean Bean coffee at the Copper Kettle Tearooms, pop out to Copper Coast Mini Farm in Fenor. Teddy escorting the cows back to the fields!
Every morning and evening when the cows are coming in to be milked, Teddy, our Highland calf, leaves his Mum and aunts in the field (he’s still small enough to slip under the fence) and walks up the lane and into the yard with the dairy cows. He sometimes even comes into the milking parlour to say hello! When the cows are going back to the fields after milking, Teddy will walk back with them and slip back under the fence to be with his Mum. He’s the funniest, cutest, cleverest little calf!
You can see Teddy with his Mum and aunts at the end of the mini farm, by the big pond. We’re open daily from 10am until 6pm. Last admission is 5pm. There’s no need to book. You can just walk in 🐮

What a day we had today! We launched our first disco parties. A huge thanks to Cara, Katie, Ava and Darragh (and their families), who had their parties here today. And in the midst of it all, two of our goats gave birth!! Nanny had two boys and Harper had a baby girl. A very busy, but lovely day 💕💕

Lara, our Toggenburg goat, gave birth to triplets yesterday evening just as we were about to close. Unfortunately the first kid did not make it. But she has a beautiful girl and boy kid. Her Mum, Nanny, helped her clean her kids, while Dad, Leo, watches on. He was giving them both a wide berth 😂

When Lara was born, she was so tiny that Lar had to tube feed her. He is now getting up during the night to feed her little boy. Hopefully as the days go on he will get stronger and be able to feed himself. I think that we might have to call him Larry! 🐐

So this happened an hour ago. Our Pygmy goat, Jude, has become a mum for the first time!! She has 2 beautiful baby girls. Both mum and kids are doing great. Born just in time for the weekend 💕 This will be our last weekend open for weekends only. From June 1st we will be open every day from 10am until 6pm 🎉 Now to think of a couple of names for these two…… 🤔

This little girl lamb was just born. During lambing time we leave the llamas in with the sheep. They are a sheep’s natural protectors from foxes. Here is a video of the llamas meeting the lamb for the first time. They stayed a respectful distance away from the ewe when she was lambing. Only when the baby lamb was standing did they come over. Love nature!! There’s a video of the ewe lambing in the comments below, if you’re not too squeamish! We are open from 10am tomorrow and Sunday if you’d like to see the new Kerry Hill lambs. Our bottle fed lambs will be fed around 10:30am if anyone would like to give us a hand! 🐑

HAPPY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND! All the babies have been busy finding their feet! Baby Bruce (named after the big man whose coming to town next week!)was tearing round the paddock like a mad yoke! We’re open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10am. There’s no need to book. You can just walk in 😊

We had a couple of new arrivals here during the week. Our mare, Cassie, had a beautiful colt foal. And baby Emma, our new Pygmy kid, joined our Copper Coast Mini Farm family. The ducklings have grown so fast that they’ve had to upgrade to a bigger pen! We’re open from 10am this morning if you’d like to visit. The fire is on and the scones are being baked. Happy Sunday 💕

The rain has finally stopped! It’s turned out to be a lovely day out here at Copper Coast Mini Farm. The fire is lighting and the buns are made. Call out for a visit. Every person gets a free cup of Animal food to feed the animals 🐮🐷🐴

The Easter bunny is done! He’s gone back to doing what he does best….eating carrots. Absolutely huge thank you to everyone who joined us over the Easter weekend. Due to the increasing number of Covid cases in our community, staff shortages and the recent bad weather we have made the unfortunate decision to close the mini farm this evening. It will give us the time to take in the animals and give the grass a chance to grow. We will be back open for Easter 2022. We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge huge thank you to all of you who have supported us during 2021. Our visitors, staff, family and friends. And especially our animals. You now get a well deserved break! Happy New Year to you all 🥰
