On September 7th, from 11am - 12pm the Next Generation of Artists: Sonic Quartet will take the stage at Westport Town Hall Theatre. 🎭

Featuring talented undergraduate students from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, this concert promises an unforgettable musical experience for all.

The program features compositions by renowned composers Puccini, Philip Glass, and Prokofiev. From the poignant “Crisantemi” to the lively “Kabardinian” String Quartet, this performance highlights the skill and passion of these talented young artists.

An Evening of Classical Masterworks at Westport Town Hall Theatre.🎭

When: Saturday, September 7th from 7:30 - 9:30pm
Where: Westport Town Hall Theatre

Some of the most acclaimed instrumentalists in the industry will take the stage for an exceptional program of beloved works. 🎻

The evening opens with work from Richard Dubugnon: Mikroncerto, op. 37 for Oboe d’Amore, Basset Clarinet and Piano. 🎹

Virtuoso performers José Franch-Ballester, Nicholas Daniel, and Leon McCawley will bring breathtaking energy and artistry to this piece.🖌️

Next, the audience will be swept away by Rachmaninov’s lush and romantic Cello Sonata, opus 19. Pianist Hugh Tinney and cellist Guy Johnston will pour their hearts into this masterwork. 🪈

After the intermission, the program concludes with Brahms’ sweeping Piano Quartet no. 2 in A Major.

The dazzling quartet of Wu Qian, Sophia Jaffé, Sarah McElravy, and Guy Johnston are sure to leave us awestruck.
