Thinking of eloping? Abby and Luke did —they travelled from the US here to Ireland, for a romantic and intimate symbolic ceremony. Their day was filled with joy, laughter, and love, proof that nothing can overshadow the beauty of a moment shared from the heart.

As their celebrant, it was an honour to guide them through a ceremony that reflected their story so perfectly.

✨ Abby and Luke chose the breathtaking beauty of Galway Bay for their elopement ceremony. High spirits shone through it all — the playful gulls overhead, the seaweed scattered along the shore, ponies strolling past, and even the breeze dancing around us. Abby’s satin kitten heels didn’t miss a beat! Nothing daunted this couples expression of love and devotion in exchanging their vows.

It was pure magic, and such a privilege to witness their love in this wild, romantic place. 💍💙

An icon of Irish stage and screen, Geraldine Plunkett is beloved by audiences for her unforgettable TV roles — as Mary McDermott-Moran in Glenroe, Mrs. Fleming in The Clinic, and Rose O’Brien in Fair City. 📺💫

Her distinguished stage career has taken her from the Gate Theatre to international tours, with standout performances in Juno and the Paycock, Famine, The Factory Girls, The Glass Menagerie, and many more. Most recently, Geraldine captivated audiences in the one-woman play Waiting by Jennifer Johnston.

Geraldine also has fond memories of New Ross, where she appeared with Red Kettle in Hummen’ by Tony Guerin. On opening night, a power outage turned into an unforgettable sing-along with the audience — a moment that still brings a smile to her face. 🎶

Now, she returns to New Ross, delighted to take the stage in the world premiere of Sheila Forsey’s The Memory Room. This moving new play promises to be a highlight of the 2025 Eugene O’Neill Festival.

Anne-Marie made our wedding day personal and intimate. She communicated with us multiple times before our ceremony day to see what type of wedding we would like. Anne Marie’s speech touched on Luke and I’s relationship perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better Ireland wedding and Anne Marie was a huge part of that. I highly recommend her as an officiant.💞

Last weekend in Midleton, Co.Cork I had the privilege of celebrating two beautiful rituals—a sand ceremony and a tree planting ceremony within baby Jacks family—each symbolising unity, growth, and the deep roots of love.
It was a glorius day, filled with joy and wonderful, warm, generous hospitality.
