Just want to say a huge Happy Christmas to all the amazing songwriters and performers who've appeared at the sessions this year and to all who have come and supported it since we started and especially to Wally O Neill and Red Books for letting this happen. The amount of brilliant original songs I've heard here makes this all so worthwhile and I'm looking forward to the new year where we can kick it off again.
Next session will be Friday the 10th January. Anyone who would like to sign up and play,just sent me a message.

Absolutely fantastic session last night for the last Driftwood session of the year. The second Local Alchemy takes place this coming Friday night at 7.30pm in Red Books.

This years Alchemy will be a fusion of music and poetry from some great local performers.

We're open tomorrow from 9.30-5pm in Wexford's St Peter's Square.

Looking forward to Local Alchemy part 2 that's taking place this coming Friday the 6th in Red Books starting at 7.30. This event is a collaboration between songwriters who perform here at The Driftwood Sessions and the fantastic poets who regularly perform at the Outspoken: Spoken Word Open-Mic.
Our last session of the year takes place on Friday the 13th and I have a couple of spots left so if you're interested in performing just send me a message.

Huge thanks to Andrew Kenny for recording this impromptu video of a song called "As far as the eye can see" from last night where i was joined by Declan P Turley . Declan recorded piano on this song from my upcoming 4th album but this is the first time we actually played it live.

Another great night in Red Books last night. It might have been quieter than normal but it's amazing how much talent was on display. Next session is on the 13th December and will be the last one before the new year.
