The Driftwood Sessions

So a year ago tonight, we had our first session and I'm glad to say that we're still going strong. Just wanted to give a big shout out to Wally O Neill at Red Books for having us and to all the amazing performers and audience who have supported it. Over the course of the past year, we have heard truly amazing original songs, instrumentals and poetry being performed.
Our next session will be on the 26th September and even though it's 3 weeks away,I'm delighted to say we are fully booked up already with some of the best talented creative people around so here's to the next year of The Driftwood Sessions.

☆☆☆ BIG NEWS FOR RED BOOKS ☆☆☆

We’re absolutely delighted (and honestly a little emotional) to share that Red Books has been one of the independent bookstores awarded funding through the incredible Books at One Community Initiative. This support means the world to us, not just because it helps keep the lights on, but because it’s an investment in what we truly believe in: community, creativity, and connection.

We want to say a massive thank you to Books at One for believing in independent bookshops as more than businesses, but as beating hearts of the communities they serve.

As for what we’ll do with the funding? Over the coming months we’ll be rolling out new initiatives that deepen our role as a community hub, from free workshops, more local events and more publishing projects to improved spaces and resources for everyone who walks through our door.

For now, we just want to say thank you. We’re honoured, we’re excited, and we’re more committed than ever to building something beautiful, together.
