20 Years ago today 01/04/2001🎉 i got the keys to the halfway house. I've pulled plenty of pints listened to some great music played, and seen more than a few romances start.
For now as many of you may have noticed I'm moving on to serving you a different type of brew. Come see us @thehalfway serving great coffee, & locally baked delicious treats.
Thanks to all for the support over last 20 years and here's to 20 more🙌

Vintners' Federation of Ireland Micheál Martin, We did what you asked, closed up ahead of time 14th March for us. Now time to level the playing field and give ALL pubs a chance to show they can open responsibly.

We were one of the first pubs in the country to close our doors back in March. Public health and safety will always be our main priority. The 3500 pubs closed across Ireland need clarity rather than the intentionally grey rhetoric we have been given so far. Multiple layers of industry depend on it. Not to mention, communities.

The pub, as an insititution, has to adapt - just like everything else; but an industry cannot adapt if it is not supported.
