Moadim l'simcha! Wishing everyone a happy healthy sukkot! We are finding ways to keep things fun with food this week..each day a different child gets to choose the meals, tomorrow kicking things off with "Plate size Pancakes"! Make it fun and add a sweet or savory topping bar...fruits, jams, syrups, ice cream, or even dice and fry some pastrami. Big breakfasts are key to avoid serving up a dozen meals all day, so you can get out of the kitchen and into the sukkah - enjoy!

Shab/RH lunch: Chicken Fingers for kids to nosh during the day, Apple honey mustard chicken w/ white rice, israeli salad
3rd meal: Challah & leek dip, tomato dip, eggplant dip...& caesar salad
Sat night: soup, simanim & cajun salmon
Sunday lunch: pomegranate teriyaki chicken & cranberry apple quinoa salad, Franks & Blanks (bc my kids are addicted to them!)

Lots of times we are so busy and don’t have time to make fresh desserts for Shabbos - we love to order from Rachel at Bake My Day! Her stuff is delicious and comes wrapped up so nicely! Order for Rosh hashana this week if you want to have desserts crossed off your to-do list!

Best wishes to all our kids as they start the new school year !! ✏️❤️📚🌈 Menu for this week... Great reviews on taco bar, gen tso & chicken fingers! The garlic spread also has rave reviews, it’s not a typical mayo based dip, it’s super slowly emulsified garlic oil lemon juice salt...end result is super garlicky spread, was originally made to pair with roast chicken but now it goes on everything in our house. Enjoy!
