What a busy week it was at Tasty VeโTaim! Started out with a catered lunch for 20. Then a fruit platter for a newly engaged couple on Thursday and a Shabbat dinner at the end of the week.
Luncheon:
-Green bean salad with green onion, pecans, sunflower seeds and pomegranate arils
-Freeka salad with roasted grapes, chives, pecans and dried cranberries
-Spinach salad with smoked coconut chips, walnuts, red onion, apples, dried cranberries and parev goat cheese
-Chopped salad with spinach, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and corn-nuts
-Roasted Vegetable Stacks: Eggplant, Red onion, zucchini and parev feta cheese topped with herbs
-Creamy polenta with meat or vegetarian topping choices:
-Pulled slow cooked beef with caramelised onions
-Pulled honey BBQ chicken breast
-Pulled lamb shoulder with pomegranate glaze
-Portobello mushrooms slow cooked with a balsamic glaze
-Rice crispy treats
-Apricot upside down white chocolate cake
-Dark chocolate bark with white chocolate chips
Fruit Platter: Small designer platter
Shabbat dinner:
-Baked schnitzel tenders
-Potato kugel
-Sweet and Sour meatballs
-Spicy lime charred pargit
-Orange chocolate cake
