Hi. I am writing to ask you to help support a grassroots swimming education project for survivors of the October 7 massacre and Gaza Envelope evacuees who are now staying in hotels at the Dead Sea. My daughter, Ella Azaria, is one of the project’s swim instructors and co-directors.

She tells me that she works with the survivors in the pool every day and sees people with severe anxiety and PTSD finally relax and smile during their lessons. The psychologists volunteering in trauma relief at the Dead Sea hotels encouraged the development of the school for resilience-building and therapeutic support.

This was one of the most gorgeous Mitzvahs that we have ever produced! It was under the Montefiore Windmill with an unbelievable view of the the Old City walls. The Jerusalem Wineries hosted the event with their spectacular wine. Amazing food by Chef Gavriel Greenwald. Spectacular music from Oshrey Pais's team. Perfect photography by Yuval Yosef.
