A Mega Event “ KALINGA GOURAV AWARD-2016 ” is being organized jointly by leading Social and Cultural organizations of Odisha namely Aryabhatta Trust, Saichand Productions, Smrutiraodisha & Ambika Foundation during Dec 2016. This is a competitive based award with a focus target group of youth from junior category class 8th to 10th and senior category +2 to Master Degree students. Contestants can participate in 12 spheres of test like Rongoli, Jhoti, Song, Dance, Debate, Quiz etc. The major attraction of the program is "KALINGA SUNDARI (Ethnic)" contest for senior category students only. To recognized to the eminent faculties by “ARYABHATTA GAURAV SAMMAN-2016” which will be presented to legendary faculties of Odisha in 4 spheres i.e. art, science, technical and culture. Various national, international and local dance and music will be performed on this 2-day event. Odia Cine & Television Artists for live performances on Several Folk & Traditional dance forms namely Odissi, Sambalpuri, Bihu, Rajasthani, Lavani, Mahari, Bharatnatyam etc will be the attractions on the occasion. Cash prizes for each event which will be awarded to the winners in the grand Finale on 29 th December 2016 at Utkal Mandap Bhubaneswar .
