I am deeply honoured to virtually receive my 60th Honorary Doctorate from the Assam down town University. Since this is my 60th Honorary Doctorate, it will always hold a special place. My sincere thanks to the University for recognizing my work in the field of education and societal upliftment. This recognition motivates me to continue my efforts with even greater dedication. I dedicate this achievement to my KIIT & KISS family, whose support has been my strength.

It’s a Proud moment for all of us.

I am deeply honoured by the establishment of ‘The Achyuta Samanta India Initiative of The CUNY CREST Institute (ASIICCI)’ at The City University of New York (CUNY). This institute will provide U.S. students with an opportunity to research Odisha's rich art and heritage and explore the socio-economic upliftment of indigenous communities through education. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Milton Santiago and the entire CUNY team for this incredible gesture. I hope this initiative fosters deeper understanding and collaboration between India and the U.S.

The event, organized by .khwahishein , the official Hindi Society of KIIT, brought together students, faculty members, and esteemed guests to celebrate the beauty, importance, and cultural richness of the Hindi language.

On the 10th of September, 2024, Kimaya, the medical society of KIIT conducted an observation on World Su***de Prevention Day. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Jayaprakash Russell Ravan (Dept. of Psychiatry, KIMS) and Dr. Udit Kumar Panda (Dept. of Psychiatry KIMS). The event highlighted the signs and risk factors of su***de prevention, engaging the audience on what their believe on su***de prevention is and teaching them the steps they can take to save a life. The cherry on the cake was when the students could submit anonymous confessions about their mental health issues and queries, which the chairpersons answered. We would like to thank Dr. Shyam Sunder Behura, Additional Registrar, KIIT Deemed to be University, Dr. Barsha Baishali Parida, Faculty Coordination, KIMAYA, and Mrs. Jayalaxmi Mishra, KSAC Incharge for Kimaya for their invaluable support in making the event a success.

A bond forged in love and shared memories is a treasure beyond words. Raksha Bandhan, a celebration of this special connection, was brought to life at Satyabrahma College for the Hearing Impaired. Khwaab and Kraftovity joined hands to create a day filled with joy, laughter, and shared moments. Rakhis, sweets, and gifts adorned the occasion, as did the radiant smiles of the children. In a heartfelt gesture, the dedicated members of Kraftovity Society came together to create a 3D model and handmade flags as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The Flags were proudly distributed to our vigilant security guards and the brave police personnel in acknowledgment of their invaluable service to our community and nation.
