दुःखद सूचना
बड़े ही दुःख के साथ सूचित करना पड़ रहा है कि वर्धमान कॉलेज के खेल कूद एवं शारीरिक शिक्षा विभाग में असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर पद पर कार्यरत डॉ शान्तनु सिंह काकरान जी का आज दिल्ली के एक हॉस्पिटल में इलाज़ के दौरान निधन हो गया। यह हमारे महाविद्यालय के लिए अपूरणीय क्षति है।

आज दिनांक 29 मार्च 2024 वर्धमान कॉलेज बिजनौर के मैदान पर प्रथम राजेंद्र कुमार जगत प्रकाश मेमोरियल अंडर 14 बालक वर्ग क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट 2023-24 का शुभारंभ वर्धमान कॉलेज बिजनौर के खेल मैदान पर प्राचार्य सी एम जैन , प्रो. राजीव जोहरी , प्रो. एस के शोन , डॉ जितेंद्र विश्वकर्मा द्वारा किया गया।
वर्धमान क्रिकेट अकादमी समिति और खेल समिति , वर्धमान कॉलेज द्वारा आयोजित टी-20 नॉकआउट फॉर्मेट का यह टूर्नामेंट बी.सी.सी.आई. के नियमों आधार पर खेला जा रहा है जिसमे पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश की आठ टीमें प्रतिभाग कर रही हैं।
प्रतियोगिता का प्रथम मैच मे एन. सी.ए. अकादमी नूरपुर और शिखर क्रिकेट एकेडमी धामपुर के बीच खेला गया जिसमें नूरपुर ने धामपुर को 60 रन से हराया ।
दूसरे मैच मे वर्धमान क्रिकेट अकादमी बिजनौर ने किरतपुर अकादमी को 83 रन से हराया ।

While he aimed for Medical after his 12th, he enrolled for B.Sc. in VCB in the year 1972 and was guided by the teachers to achieve his dreams. Alumni Video 1 (06-11-2023) Ms. Bhakti Mehrishi Alumni VCB, B.Sc. 1974 Batch, has been an all rounder, versatile multi-talented personality. She took up Teaching as a profession in 1982 after completing her PG and B.Ed. (VCB) and taught Science in RDJP School, New Delhi and The Shriram school Aravali, Gurgaon covering a glorious 25 years of passionate and dedicated work. Ma'am took voluntary retirement and since then celebrates life every moment pursuing her hobbies of Reading, Writing, Recitation, Singing, Playing Piano and harmonium, Painting, Yoga and regular walks to remain fit and joyful, spreading happiness all around. Recently she visited her Alma Mater and was excited to see the development and upgradation of the college. We had requested her to record a video for us and she was kind enough to accept our request and share her feelings. Let us hear from her through this video.
