Every day, people from different walks of life visit my residence seeking help, but today was truly special. I met two extraordinary individuals—a young boy and girl, both differently-abled and wheelchair-bound, yet shining as national-level wheelchair badminton players. Their courage, confidence, and determination deeply moved me. Despite their challenges, they are excelling in their careers and inspiring countless others.

I was so happy to interact with them and grant them both new wheelchairs to support their journey ahead. They didn’t just make my day; they filled my heart with joy and made my year-end truly special.

Rutaparna and Shweta Parna Panda, the Panda Sisters, have made us proud again by winning bronze medals at the Nepal International Challenge. Their journey to achieve a world rank of 38 is truly inspiring, and their parents remain their greatest source of support and encouragement.

I am really happy to see them excel not only in badminton but also as students of KIIT. KIIT has always been proud to support their sporting careers while ensuring they receive quality education. My best wishes to them for even greater achievements in the future!

Proud to announce KIIT University's stellar performance at the All India Inter-University Athletics Championship 2024-25, clinching 10 medals (5 Gold, 2 Silver, 3 Bronze) and setting two new meet records:

1. 200m Men: Animesh Kujur with a record-breaking timing of 20.57 seconds.

2. 4x100m Relay Men: A remarkable timing of 39.97 seconds by Lalu Prasad Bhoi, Animesh Kujur, Abhaya Singh, Mahendra Santa, D.M. Jayaram, and Chiranjiv.

Our Women’s Team also secured an outstanding overall 3rd position, showcasing dedication and resilience.

The world-class KIIT Athletics Stadium, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, stood as a beacon of excellence, hosting over 6,000 participants from 400+ universities. This premier facility continues to inspire athletes and elevate the standards of university sports in India.

Grateful to AIU for entrusting us with this responsibility and to sporting legends like Srabani Nanda, Rahul Banerjee, Dola Banerjee, and Seema Antil for inspiring the athletes.

KIIT remains committed to fostering excellence in sports and empowering young talents for global platforms like the World University Games. Congratulations to all athletes for making us proud!

Deeply honoured to receive my 62nd honorary doctorate (honoris causa) from Poornima University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, during their 11th Convocation Ceremony.

Grateful for their recognition of my humble efforts in education, empowerment, and social service through KIIT and KISS. This honour inspires me to continue working tirelessly to create opportunities and transform lives. My heartfelt thanks to Poornima University for this prestigious acknowledgment.

KIIT hosted the 15th KIIT International Chess Festival 2024 with grand success, welcoming over 1,200 participants from 30+ countries, including 70+ international titleholders, and offering a total prize pool of ₹60 lakhs—the largest in India.

Congratulations to all winners and participants for their outstanding performances. Special mention to Odisha talents Fakir Majhi, Tapan Badamundi, Snehangshu Sarkar, and Akshaya Sabar—three of whom are from KISS—for making us immensely proud.

Feeling blessed to meet Prof. Ganeshi Lal Ji, Former Governor of Odisha, during his recent visit to Bhubaneswar. A true people’s Governor, he served with distinction for 5 years and 6 months, always praising and encouraging our work at KIIT and KISS.

I am deeply grateful for his inspirational words, love, and blessings, which have always been a source of motivation. Praying for his good health and long life. Prof. Ganeshi Lal Ji will always remain a guiding light for all of us.
