🏐 Volleyball Mahakumbh Concludes at KIIT & KISS 🌍

The four-day Volleyball Mahakumbh at KIIT & KISS concluded on a high note, with FIVB announcing the Beach Pro Tour in Odisha for 2026–2028, marking a historic milestone for the state.

A key highlight of the event was the inauguration of the FIVB–KIIT/KISS Centre of Excellence, envisioned as a global hub for high-performance training, coach education, research, and grassroots development, with a special focus on women’s empowerment through sport.

Heartfelt gratitude to Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT, KISS & KIMS, for his visionary leadership, and to Mr. Fabio Azevedo, President, FIVB, for his unwavering support in strengthening Odisha’s global sporting footprint.

Together, this collaboration has firmly positioned Odisha as a rising global destination for volleyball. 🙏🏐

🌟 Continuing Day 2 of the Volleyball Workshop – Kanya Kiran Initiative

The second day of the Volleyball Workshop under the Kanya Kiran (Girl Sunshine) initiative continued with great enthusiasm and active participation from all female coaches and PETs. The advanced tactical sessions, match analysis modules, and on-court demonstrations with U-17 and U-19 girls’ teams offered valuable insights into modern training methods. Participants benefited immensely from the practical and interactive sessions led by FIVB Instructors Mr. John Kessel and Ms. Jana Kulan.

This impactful workshop has been made possible thanks to the visionary leadership and unwavering support of Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT, KISS & KIMS, and our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Fabio Azevedo, President, FIVB, for his guidance in enabling KIIT–KISS to host such a meaningful and inspiring programme for the growth of volleyball in Odisha and India.
