Dear friends,

Margazhi is around the corner, and so is the sixth edition of Paarvai. Do go through the schedule and save the dates, so that you can join us along with your family and friends. There will also be a couple of interactive sessions with artistes as well as a workshop, which we hope you’ll engage in.

This year too, we have some lovely dancers who have chosen to use this space to present their individual work. We hope you attend these and give your support to them.

We look forward to meeting you all. As always, thank you for your love and support.

Retro film music is back at the Terrace! Come, waltz down memory lane as the wonderful Rahul Veda and Savitha treat us to some lovely Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam classics along with an orchestra.

Rahul is a much admired devotional/ playback singer who has performed in light music shows in Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka. He has an MA and M.Phil from the University of Madras. A student of HMV Raghu, he enjoys the process of learning as much as he loves singing. He is particularly passionate about old melodies.

Savitha is an effortless singer of semi-classical, devotional and playback singing. She has rendered Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam songs for composers like Ilayaraja, Vidyasagar and Santosh Narayanan.

The orchestral accompanied will be provided by M Nagasubramanian, Nathan and Yuvraj. On the drums pad will be Nagasubramanian, a senior percussion artist who has collaborated with renowned artists. His work has taken him on extensive travels. On the tabla will be Nathan, a musician who has been playing the instrument since he was ten. He is part of Murali's Mouna Ragam troupe. The keyboard will be in the masterful hands of Yuvraj, a freelance artist with 15 years of experience in the field.

As always, Arshad and team from Orbit Audio will manage the sound excellently, as they always do.

We look forward to sharing the evening with you! Please note, the suggested donation for the event of Rs. 200 per head.
