It was a great feeling today to spend a lot of time with Shakthi Vinayagar. We started off with Namagiripettai Krishnan's Nadhaswaram for a change (otherwise its always Karukurichito start with), followed by Sirgazhi Govindarajan's inimitable Vinayagar songs. Starting with Vinayagar Agaval then came the Omkaram (Vinayakane). This was followed by another lovely album "munnai muzhumudhale". Sivacharyas as directed by Manikanda Sastrigal arrived and we were blessed to see the full abhishegam for our Swamy at Palace Anbu Nagar Valasaravakkam Chennai. Doopam Deepam Neyvedhyam and Sangeetha samarpanam. What an enjoyable day it was! Kalavathi made it a point to make home-made prasadam for our Swamy. The marriage party after 2.5 days wedding stopped by for a pleasant dharshan before heading home.

It was a great feeling that with some exemplary imagination, our lawyer daughter Arul Priya took up the efforts to furnish Shakthi Palace with beautiful coloured curtains. See the sequential design for the AC dining hall at Shakthi Palace. We commissioned it for the reception today.

It was Aadi velli the last Friday of the Tamil month. The Satsangh was organized by Shakthi Palace AC Kalyana Mandapam Anbu Nagar Valasaravakkam. We could not accommodate a lot of people due to restrictions in place. Very blessed to perform a pooja like this. A lot of physical help from our service teams boosted our morale. Wonderful evening it was. Vishnu Sahasranama stotra parayanam followed by Lalitha Sahasranama archanai. The Sangeetha samarpanam by Sri Muthukrishnan, Smt Brindha, and Bhagavathar mama (pathu viral modhiram) followed by Kalayadha kalviyum (Abhirami ammai pathigam) made the event divine all the way. Very fulfilling indeed. Happy to see the couples who tied knots at Shakthi Palace taking part in the pooja event.

The role of stage decoration:
This is something we enjoy every time a new design is created in a few hours in front of us. The decorators do not have a picture in front of them, they just do it. The impact is awesome. See the stage we had at Shakthi Palace AC Kalyana Mandapam Anbu Nagar Valasaravakkam yesterday for the wedding reception. The good thing is that all decoration designs are not expensive.

The oonjal function at Shakthi Palace is always an exciting event. The flower decoration and the Pattupaai with names on oonjal palagai add to the beauty. The fun starts when all the loved ones gather around the oonjal at the GF car parking entrance area. Using the dedicated high quality speaker and Shure microphone, the singers to try the oonjal songs without any preparation. Soon the singers sing with more confidence and the session gets longer. Finally someone says it's time for mukurtham.
