On this world heritage day, we would like to walk you through these pictures that showcase our traditional rituals that have evloved with time, yet keeping the core ceremonies intact.

1. Earlier days we had something called 'janavasam' where the groom travelled to the Kalyana mandapam in an open decorated car where the girl would actually see him for the 1st time. Times have changed where we now have tbe bride and groom well known to each other and thus, they enter the wedding hall in style and glory, calling it the "couple entry"

2. The welcoming table that symbolizes "let's start on a sweet note" ,now has pretty dolls decked up ,and mirrors to adjust your bindis and place your malli poo too with a sweet placed on a banana leaf made donai, for the touch of eco-friendly way as that's the Prerana way!

3. A kalyana mandapam, basically a huge hall to host a large gathering of near and dear ones on your big day ; nevertheless has taken a fancier way of keeping it breezy for some and choosy for others by adding a theme, lot of glitz and glamor to it,indeep keeping the rituals intact!
