Sardar Vallabai Patel Sports Academy is a non-profit independent organization found in 14 August, 2015 by Meritorious Sports Persons of Our state, sports activist and volunteers, which is committed to building healthy, well-balanced citizens and a safe, prosperous, peaceful community through sport. It believes in the power of sports to help children learn and grow socially, emotionally, and physic
ally. The Academy provides training programs for the students from the grass root level. The focus is on the students who are underprivileged and marginalized to take them to the next step of their life. The program has many components including training and education, coaching, grant making, public policy, and knowledge creation and sharing. As a result of hard work and perseverance we have developed many young children as good National judo players who have represented our state and made us proud. So far our students have participated and have won gold silver and bronze medals in district level school tournaments, district open Judo championships and state level school Tournaments, open state Judo championship conducted by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu, Tamilnadu Judo Association and Judo Federation of India. Our students have also been selected by the sports authority of India for training in National Centre of Excellence, Patiyala, Punjab. Searching and enlisting sporting talents at a young age, imparting effective training through most modern techniques in a state-of-the-art environment to achieve international standards in sports disciplines.
2. Identifying sports talents in young people and giving them a chance at making a career even away from our academy.
3. Engaging young people in physical and moral education with a view to reducing crime rate, drug abuse.
4. Training young people in the sustainable management of bio-diversities and environmental protection.
5. Empowerment of the girl child, enabling them to become successful leaders through sports.
6. Improve the standard of sports education in India through regular coaching, workshops, international-cultural sports exchanges and mentoring programs.
7. Facilitating training and workshops for coaches and volunteers, to equip them with modern techniques and methods employed in sports today.
